Chapter 6

Week passed

Yujin arrived early to her class and she was already sitting in her chair while waiting for Hyewon. Because the class would start later, she put her airpods to her ears while scrolling on her phone and playing a music. She accompanies the singer in singing the song. She leaned her back in the chair and closed her eyes as she sang along.

Because it was raining

I thought of you

Because I thought of you

I was like that

It didn't mean anything

I hide under an umbrella

And pass by your house

Because I wanted to feel

The emotions of the old days again

While she was enjoying singing, she didn't know that some students were listening to her and Minjoo and Yuri were one of them. They were enjoying her singing voice when she stopped singing, Yuri approached her and patted her shoulder. She looked at her

"Oh Yuri Unnie" she removed her airpods and put it in her desk

"Good Morning Yujin" Yuri greet

"Good Morning" Yujin greet

"Ahm Yujin, We heard that you sang and your voice is so beautiful and I didn't think you were good at singing, maybe you want to join the Music Club? Minjoo and I are members" Yujin looked at Minjoo and looked back at Yuri

"Thank you for the compliment Unnie. but I'm Sorry, I will not join your club because I have already registered with the Acting Club and the track and field" Yujin said but the truth is she has not yet registered with the Track and field, she just said that so that Yuri won't force her to join because she already has two clubs but she's an athlete so she'll just join the track and field club. She registered with the acting club yesterday, of which her friends Eunwoo and Gaeul are also members.

"Oh Okay" Yuri said and Hyewon arrived

"Good Morning!" Hyewon greet while smiling

"Good Morning Unnie! Looks like you're happy right now, aren't there any women and men following you?" Yujin asked

"There is, but I'm happy because I saw Eunwoo earlier and he talked to me and he smiled meltingly" She replied and Yuri just looked at her and she was obviously disgusted

"Stop it, you have a girlfriend and who are you flirting with whether it's a girl or a boy, stop it, you have a girlfriend" Yuri said

"I'm just flirting but I won't change my girlfriend because I love her" Hyewon said and Yujin and Yuri shook their head in disbelief, then Hyewon looked at Yujin

"Eunwoo wants to give it to you" Hyewon said and handed the papers she was holding to Yujin

"What is this?" Yujin asked

"It's a script for your evaluation next week for the female lead in your production" Hyewon answered and Yujin nodded slowly

"When is your production?" Yuri asked

"Next month" Yujin answered

"What story are you going to do?" Hyewon asked

"It's Thai. Crazy little thing called love" Yujin answered

"Oh really? Who's going to play Shone?" Hyewon asked

"Eunwoo"

"What!? and you will be auditioning for Female lead?" Yuri asked and could see in her eyes that she was worried

"Why? What's the problem of that?" Yujin asked while looking at Yuri

"Nothing but the problem is Eunwoo's fangirls, in the past when your club had a production, Eunwoo's female lead partner in the production, was bullied by the fangirls and maybe what happened to her will happen to you" Yuri said

"That won't happen, I can fight them not like before that I just let others bully me, I can defend myself so don't worry" Yujin said and the two nodded but they were still worried about their friend.

The day of evaluation came and only three students planned to audition as Nam, The female lead. The judges or officers of the Acting Club were not satisfied with the first two who auditioned because there was something lacking in their acting but they hoped that the last student to audition would be good. The last auditioner went to the front and introduced herself.

"Hello, I'm Ahn Yujin from Business Management Department"

"Okay, you may now start" One of the judges said and Yujin started.

It can be seen on the faces of the judges that they are satisfied with Yujin's acting and it looks like they have already made a choice. Yujin is finished and she goes back to where she was earlier and waits for the result. After 3 minutes the President of the Acting Club Choi Hyunwook stood up.

"Hello Everyone, So we already decided who will be the female lead in the next production which is going to happen next month. And The one we chose to play Nam is..... Ahn Yujin from Business Management Department. Congratulations" Hyunwook said and he looked at Yujin and smiled. Yujin stood up and the members of the Acting Club applauded.

Lunch time

They are in the Cafeteria but Yujin still acting Minjoo does not exist. She doesn't even look at Minjoo once and their friends notice that. Even though they wanted to tell Yujin the real reason, they didn't because Minjoo wanted to tell Yujin herself.

"I have good news for you guys" Yujin started

"What is it?" Chaeyeon asked

"They chose me as the female lead" Yujin said cheerfully

"What? Really!?" Yena asked and Yujin nodded

"I'm the one who will play Nam" Yujin said and her friends gave her a worried look

"Are you sure you want to act as the female lead?" Sakura asked and Yujin nodded

"I know you guys are worried that Eunwoo's fans might bully me, don't worry I can handle myself" Yujin said

"Minjoo" Their attention went to the person who called Minjoo, there was a man approaching their place and he had a big smile. Minjoo's friends just gave the man a disgusted look because they knew he would bother Minjoo again.

"What do you want?" Minjoo coldly asked

"Hey, I'm just here to give it to you" He said and he handed Minjoo the paper bag he was carrying.

"What is this?" Minjoo asked

"It's a gift, I didn't give you a gift when your club performed because I was busy practicing basketball"

"Why don't you stop bothering me, Hyunjin? I told you I don't like you and stop bothering me please" Minjoo said

"Why don't you like me? Do you like someone already?" He asked

"Yes, so stop bothering me and stop giving me a gift because I'll just give it back to you!" Minjoo said and the students in the Cafeteria heard what was said and she got their attention.

Hwang Hyunjin is one of the suitors of Minjoo but the University students already know that, that basketball player is not serious with Minjoo because they know that only one of Hyunjin's friends bet is to date Minjoo but Minjoo doesn't like him.

In Minjoo's Response, Hyunjin glares at her.

"I'll come back to you, Minjoo and I won't stop until you become mine" Hyunjin said and he left.

When the students hear Minjoo’s response, they start whispering and asking who is the lucky person that Minjoo likes. and they are jealous of that person even though they don't know if what Minjoo said is true or not.
