The day started off like any other day.

I got up, got dressed into some black skinny jeans a a band t-shirt and drove to school, but something felt off. I just couldn't tell what.

I was sitting in the middle of music class when it started. Everything was beginning to feel foggy, and it was hard to concentrate; I felt as if I was trapped in the middle of the ocean with nowhere to go.

"Louis," a deep voice called my name, but I couldn't tell who.

"Are you okay?" I hear the same voice ask again.

I look to where I hear the voice and see my boyfriend, Harry, looking at me with concerned eyes.

"I-I don't know, I-I don't f-feel so well," I stutter out.

His dark green eyes look at me with even more concern now. He moves closer to me and starts to ask me something, but I can't hear him. I felt as if I was drowning and being pulled under the water.

The water fills my lungs, and everything starts to go black. "LOUIS!" I hear someone yell right before I'm engulfed in the darkness.

Flashback: 4 years ago,

"Lou, hurry up today's the day!" I heard my mum yell from downstairs.

I'm rushing around my room trying to get everything together, 'today's the day' rang through my head, I couldn't believe it. I was finally going to find out if I made the footie team or not.

"I'm coming!" I called back to her.

I ran down the stairs and out the door to my mum's car, you could probably see the nerves and
excitement running through me.

Once at the school, I make my way to the gym to wait with the other lads who tried out for the team. I see the coach Mr. Corden make his way out of the locker rooms and stand in front of a bulletin board, I see him pin a piece of paper to it and I know, I know that sheet is what has the results on it that will alter my future in footie for the rest of my high school career.

As I slowly make my way to the board I can feel the nerves running down my spine, and my palms beginning to become sweaty. I look through the list dying to know if my name is on it. I start to lose hope as I get closer to the bottom, but then I see it. There's my name right at the very bottom.

'Louis Tomlinson'

Present time:

White. White is the first thing I register when I open my eyes, everything is white. I looked around terribly confused, and relize I was in a hospital room.

I feel someone squeeze my hand making me look to my right, my mom sits beside my bed, with tears dripping down her face.

"Mum," I rasp out.

She moves her head to face me, sad bright blue eyes meeting mine, "Louis," she whispers.

I can tell something's wrong, terribly wrong. My mum looks as if her world just came crashing down. I don't understand, the last thing I remember was everything feeling foggy and then me passing out. But why is she looking at me with so much sadness? What else happened?

"What's wrong?" I ask her, my voice filled with worry and concern.

She looks at me with so much sadness it breaks my heart. She opens her mouth to say something but gets interrupted by a knock on the door before a doctor walks in.
