"There's something about you."

We mostly spent out time figuring out what car to take because Maddie was very indecisive.

"Just pick a car Maddie" tanner speaks up

"I want the black one but the white one looks so cool" she says pointing at each.

"Why don't we just take the white one" I say

"Yeah I agree" Kiefer says. I had just noticed that he was standing next to me.
"Ok" Maddie says in a whine. "Let me go get the keys"

We all stood awkwardly waiting for Maddie to get back.
But Bella was gawking over tanner. Telling him handsome he is.
I shifted my view to Ariana who was on her phone.

We were in a parking garage and it was quite cold. I know we were in Florida but still. I had a short sleeve on making me get goosebumps.

"Here" Kiefer says
I turn to him and he's handing me his sweatshirt.
"Oh I'm okay, it's not even that col-" he cuts me off shoving the sweatshirt in my hands.
"Just take it" he says grinning.
"Whatever" I try to hide the fact that I was blushing so hard.

Maddie finally comes back with the keys and we all hop into the car.

"Ok the gps says it's a 20 minuet drive" tanner says in the front of the car.

Ariana groans and slips in her AirPods.
I was staring out the window the whole time. But the scent of the sweatshirt threw me off guard because I just remembered that I was wearing kiefers sweatshirt.
My face quickly heats up as if it were being placed on a hot stove.

After I finally calmed down we were at the house.
We all got out and walked to the front door.
It was kind of already night time so we decided to chill because most of us had jet lag.

One of tanners other friends took the couch so I couldn't lay there.
Bella and tanner went into a room and so did Ariana.

There was no other place to go so I went to the deck. There was two chairs that were facing the beach. I grabbed a blanket and placed it on top of me.

The sounds of the waves were so peaceful and quickly got me to fall asleep.

I was then awoken like 45 minutes later by the door opening.
I turn to see kiefer.

"Oh jeez sorry" he says as he began to walk back inside.
"No your good, you can sit out here" I say
"Cool" he says quietly and walks over to the chair.

"We haven't really talked yet" he says turning his head to me"
"You gave me your sweatshirt" I say laughing.
"You were cold" he says joining in on the laughter.
"Yeah okay" I say

"No really though, tell me about yourself" he quickly says

"Well what do you want to know?" I ask turning my head to face him.
"Do you have any siblings? What's your favorite color? Favorite season, when's your birthday?" He asks

I laugh and then talk "I don't have any siblings and my favorite color is green, my favorite season is fall or summer, and my birthday is September 20th" I say clasping my hands together.

"See, now I know who you are" he says putting his hands behind his head.
"I feel we would be good friends" I say staring into the endless water
"Why's that?" He asks.

"There's something about you." I say
I know it sounds crazy but he was making my fall even harder for him by the second.
I knew he was about to say something but he got cut off by the door opening.
It was jay, tanners other friend

"Kiefer dude, you should come see this" he says and runs back inside.
Kiefer hesitantly gets up
"See you y/n" he says and walks inside

He will be the death of me.
