."WHAT- ARE YOU FUCKEN MENTALLY INSANE!"
What he was suggesting was crazy! We can't just do that out of the god damn blue, we need to prepare! And get some fucken therapy.
"What? It's not like we got any better ideas!" Duncan shouts back at me
As much as I hated to admit it, Duncan was making a point. He was right, we don't exactly have many options but I honestly doubt that he has what ever we need inside that bag of his...or a proper plan for that matter. But we don't really have room to be complaining...NO- wait we can't possibly be thinking of doing that! I quickly take a walk around in a circle to get my thoughts in place.
"What the hell are you even thinking!" I yell at him once more making Duncan rolls his eyes.
"Well it's not like it's the worst idea in the world." Noah quickly says followed by a sigh.
"And we don't exactly have other options here-" heather looks at Noah, squinting her eyes in annoyance.
After a while of arguing we decided that Duncan's plan wasn't as bad as it could be. I rejected a few of his additional suggestions but the only problem that was left was...supplies.
"Any idea where we are going to find all this stuff for this plan for yours?" I quickly say cutting off the arguments.
We all stay silently for a couple minutes, considering all other possible options. Where in the world could we possibly find the stuff for...this. Rope? Body bags? Fire? Scissor!? I don't even know what we need for fuck's sake! After a couple more seconds, Geoff speaks up.
"Well...I think I know where we could go." Geoff huffs out a quick laugh before continuing,
"There's a little inn down by the markets, it's run by this red head family. A little weird but they've got a killer shop filled with stuff for hiking and stuff!" Geoff smiles awkwardly.
Everyone takes a quick look at each other, We didn't have many other ideas either then like Home Depot but we decided against since it was across town (and we weren't aloud in there anymore). We grab our things and take one more look at the dead girls feet, hoping she won't get up and run away, before getting in the car and driving towards the markets.
The car was a little cramped so Geoff and Brody went to sit in the back of the trunk but they didn't mind much. Brody was still shaken up from before and Geoff was comforting him with shitty jokes and long stories.
Izzy was telling us about the conversation she had with the squirrel from before and something about some killer demon queen...? By the time we arrived to the inn, the sun was almost down and everyone was getting drowsy. Geoff and Brody were the first to get out, Noah, Heather and Izzy following after them. Me and Duncan locking the car doors and walking behind them.
Geoff opened the door and a small bell rang. Inside at the cashier sat a bigger guy with red hair, freckles, and a dumb happy smile. He wore overalls and a white shirt. Clearly not paying attention, he sat quietly at the desk waiting for someone to talk to him. Duncan, Izzy, Geoff, and Brody walked toward the back of the shop, Izzy touching everything on the walls and shelves as they passed them.
Noah walked over toward the cashier, trying to get his attention.
"Hey you, do you guys have any...rope?" He looked back at me, checking to see if he was right but neither me or heather had an answer.
The cashier stood still as if he was turned to stone. He just stared at Noah and continued to smile dumbly. It looked almost as if he was blushing. Noah clearly got annoyed and tried once more.
"Um...hello??" Noah waves his hand in front of his face,
" Earth to moron? Hello???" Noah was starting to get more annoyed by the second but after a few seconds the guy spoke up.
"I-errr...um-you...are-eyes...moon-sun....name—Rodney...I-.....love!...................yes." the guy blushes and looked away, pointing to the right toward a few shelves with hiking supplies on them.
"Whatever"
Noah rolls his eyes and walked over to where the cashier...Rodney? was pointing. Rodney just continued blushing and smiling followed with a long sigh while staring at Noah pass him. Heather and I followed Noah and joined him stare confusingly at the ropes.
"Why did we need ropes again?" Noah looked at me squinting his eyes,
"Not entirely sure to be honest." I let out a tired sigh.
"What's the point in even being here! Why can't we just leave them there to rot!" Heather sighs and crossed her arms pouting.
Noah yawns causing Heather to yawn and ten causing me to yawn. Honestly I don't even think we have the energy to drive back home let alone dispose of a dead body! Noah grabs a rope from one of the hooks and looks back at us,
"As much as I would kill to go back home, why don't we just stay here for the night." As if the cashier could hear us, his head perks up and his smile grows bigger.
Heather sleepily nodes in agreement. Even though I would love to sleep in my own bed, I don't want to drive another hour and a half to drop off Al these mfs. I give up on the idea of arguing and then nod in agreement.
We all walk over toward the boys and Izzy. Honestly I wasn't surprised to see that they were playing dress up with the snow jackets and hats that were hanged up on the hooks.
"I don't want to drive so why don't we just stay here for the night?" Just as I said that, Izzy's eyes go wide in excitement,
"Slumber party!" She says joyful as she tackles Noah around her arms as he groans.
Duncan considers it for a couple seconds and quickly agrees, Geoff and Brody already making plans with Rodney.
"Sure why not, beats driving another 2 hours." Duncan says followed by a laugh.
Rodney shyly showed us to our room and which surprisingly wasn't as bad as I thought. Sure it was one room but it was nice and cozy. The room had only four 4 beds and with four people it wouldn't be a problem but seven people....this could've gotten ugly. He offered another room but we we're already mostly broke so we decided we could suck it up for one night. If anything, I'll depend on Noah's bad flirting to get us a discount.
Rodney continued to blush and stutter when talking to Noah about the room but his words ended up being a mix of gibberish and weird English so he gave up. He quickly lets us be and leaves the room.
Now the only problem is who will sleep with who?????
Heather quickly called the bed by herself and sat on the be closest to the window. Geoff and Brody didn't mind sharing a bed and actually looked excited. Noah reluctantly agreed to share a bed with Izzy as long as she didn't "bite" him which Izzy gave no promises and laughed.
That leaving....Duncan. Duncan smirked at me and gave a discussed look back at him but quickly gave up.
Oh well, couldn't get much worse then that.
