It's been two weeks since they got out of that crazy mad house, life as they had anticipated changed, and changed for the good. With covid being still there the work was to be carried out mostly at home, restricting any movements to and from the sets, which felt nice. Families were elated at having their people back to them without the cameras and mask.
Karan had his parents over as a surprise with frequent calls from his sister's living abroad and teju went back to her aai and Baba who were more than happy to have their darling daughter back.
Both the mothers were running in the kitchen at a speed they have no idea for, in only one wish of feeding their babies who had lost so much weight!
In all this, both karan and tejasswi could not meet or sit and talk, they had decided that their first preference will be to spend time with their families, but not seeing each other for whole 15 days had taken a toll on them individually. Karan began getting cranky right from the fifth day and teja became quite right from the fourth. Old habits die hard, and now both became each other's habits!
Karan's parents were off to Punjab the same evening for a family function, and he was glad that he could do something to meet his ladoo finally. He had seen all that had happened on twitter, everything his family had said, everything that umar had said he had seen it all. He had given multiple interviews regarding this and had maintained a decent stand so that no one is blamed. But he was yet to talk to Teja, he didn't want to have this conversation on phone, he wanted to see her expressions her eyes, they never lie.
He had also seen how her brother had handled the situation,no wonder both the brother sister duo was way more matured than their age, on one had where teja handled so many of the inmates her brother handled his family and their comments with utmost dignity, he knows if it was his sister in place of teja and some other guy in his place, he would have broken bones of that guy talking this way with his sister. Pra really had some sense!
His parents liked teja, they haven't watched the episodes yet and all they knew about her was more so because of all that he has been talking about her to them. They did seem positive to his though..
He did meet umar a few times, but the warmth was always missing and that is what led him to watching the episodes and clips fans had posted and he was left shocked that it was umar who had said so much about him!
All he right now wanted to do was to hug teja tight and tell her all that he has been feeling, he wanted to share it with someone who would understand it, and who better than Teja, not only coz she is his girlfriend but also coz she had seen this umar way before he did.
On the other hand teja was working round the clock, the interviews, the add shoots and meetings for new shows and projects, and the unending questions from the family about what she had with karan, she did take a fair stand but after pra telling them everything that happened on twitter they were all in a very negative space. She has had a difficult time in convincing her parents and brother to give karan another chance, but how would she tell them that they hadn't discussed this yet, not just the Twitter thing but also about the future course of their relationship.
Her parents were going to Pune to meet their relatives, and she thought tomorrow would be the day they would finally meet, and talk about so much that has been going around them.

This is it for the first update, I wanted to show a slow Transition of how the families will accept each other and the new addition to their family too. Highlighting the Twitter thing was necessary as it will give way to different thought processes. I hope you all could relate to this part.
