A week has passed and Koga gets his chance to meet with the DFC president. This will determine if he can enter the DFC or not. He was teleported by the DFC he met before and he was led to a room that was at the end of the hall.

Scout: He's in there. He actually wanted to speak with you. Good luck.

He leaves as Koga takes a deep breath. He approaches the door and hovers his hand over the knob.

???: Come in.

He didn't even grab the door. Devils must have really good senses. Koga opens the door and enters a fancy room. Ahead of him was a desk and a chair facing backwards and looking out the window.

???: So, you're the one that wanted to get into the DFC. My martial arts company.

Koga: Yes, Mr...

???: Oh, where are my manners? I'm Jack Decallo. The owner of the DFC.

The chair turns around and Koga sees a man with his hair brushed back and scars all over his face.

Jack: Please sit. There's something that I want to discuss with you.

He takes his seat and rearranges his jacket. Koga meets the DFC owner face to face. It's more pressuring in person.

Jack: I must say, I never thought the day would come where I would have a halfbreed ask me to enter into the DFC. Much less an Uzaki.

Koga: Riser told you about that, huh?

Jack: Believe me, I didn't know what to think. I've seen clips of you fighting in Riser's club. You took on 3 fights with only a day's rest in between. On Top of that, you still trained despite being tired and in pain. I like that.

Koga: I appreciate that, Mr. Decallo. But what is it that you wanted to speak with me about? You know why I wanted to speak with you.

Jack looks at one of his colleagues before standing up and opening the curtain. He looks out the window and looks out into the city.

Jack: This is about the DFC, Koga. I see you started in the human world and then put that training in Riser's club. You made it there and you think you can try it down here. With the true fighters. Pureblood devil fighters.

Koga caught onto what Jack was talking about. Jack simply smirked and turned his back.

Jack: I'll pay you 6,500 to show and another 6,500 bonus if you sign the contract. Is that agreeable?

Koga: The money isn't something I'm concerned with. It's fine but... I can get in just like that?

Jack: That all depends on you. I know you can hit, grapple, kick and wrestle, but there's one thing that I need to be concerned about. Can you control your temper?

Koga: My temper?

Jack: Yes. What are you, deaf?! A halfbreed in a pureblood sport. You may not know this, but the majority here don't like having half breeds among us. The people see it as us being weak or just giving up on ourselves. You'll be the first half-breed to enter this sport. The devils aren't gonna like this. You'll get attention and maybe even threats. But, if you can make the money and views, then it makes sense. If the crowd doesn't like you and keeps making threats to where it gets personal, what are you going to do? Answer me, you half-breed bastard!

Koga shot up from his chair and confronted Jack. The room went silent with the colleague on the side being still and watching.

Koga: You want a fighter who's got the guts to fight back?

Jack: No. No. I want a fighter who gets hated constantly. A fighter who has the will to be hated, yet still does what he does. A fighter to bring in the crowd and make views. Your enemy will be there but you will not meet them on their low ground. We win by hitting, dodging, kicking, submitting, and knockouts. We win by two things: that you are a fighter and one who never gives up. This isn't the same concept, but humans have a lord and savior. He had the guts to turn the other cheek. Can you do that?

Koga looks to his right and sees a roster. All names with devils set to make their debut into the DFC in all divisions.

Koga: You give me a pair of gloves. You give me shorts with my name imprinted on the sides. You give me shots for the title in the future, then I'll give you the will and views.

Jack: *smirks* Good. Very good. Welcome to the DFC.

He extends his hand and the two shake before Koga signs a few documents. He's made it.

Jack: You'll have your DFC debut in a month. Make sure to give us your weight, height, and age. The announcer's gonna need all of this.

Koga: Of course.

Jack: What are you gonna do now?

Koga: That's obvious...

He makes a fist and tightens it to where it almost feels like it's bleeding.

Koga: Train. And then smash!
