Third person

Behind her love for her family the second thing she loved most in this world was her art drawing, painting, sketching you name it she would do it. It was calming, like her hand was singing a song on a page and once it was done you were left with a master piece. Lexa had been so caught up with going with the flow that she had hardly noticed she had been drawing her father she froze not really knowing how to continue when looking at what she had done twisted her heart. She was pulled out of her dilemma by her mother scorning Carl for fidgeting around whilst trying to cure his hair "Baby, the more you fidget, the longer it takes. So don't, okay?"

"I'm trying." Carl snaps at his mother "Well, try harder."Lori states back matter-of-factly "If you think this is bad, wait till you start shaving. That stings. That day comes, you'll be wishing for one of your mama's haircuts" Shane interjects conversation making Lexa snort "something funny, Lex" shane joking snaps at The girl he viewed as his own "yeah actually. I don't think I've ever seen Carl being ok with any haircut" Lexa states looking at her brother with a 'I'm right' face to which Carl just playfully rolls his eyes at his big sisters antics shane chuckles at the siblings banter "I'll tell you what... you just get through this with some manly dignity and sibling respect and tomorrow I'll teach you something special. I will teach the two of you to catch frogs"

"Oh god" Lexa chuckles under her breath "I've caught a frog before." Carl reply's innocently to his godfather "I said frogs... plural. And it is an art, my friend. It is not to be taken lightly. There are ways and means. Few people know about it. I'm willing to share my secrets." Shane looks up at the siblings with nothing but adoration. Shane always loved the Grimes kids as they were his own

Lexa always loved her godfather he was like a part of the family. He was actually the one to first introduce Lexa to alcohol. Only a sip of his beer which probably wasn't the best idea as Lexa grew up to love sneaking out of the house for parties but, hey at least she had good grades?

The conversation was interrupted by a loud blaring of a car horn. All members of the Atlanta camp jump out of their seats to see what noise was possibly drawing more geeks over to their camp including Shane who yelled up to the old man on top of the Rn "talk to me Dale!"

"Can't tell yet" Dale states back looking through his binoculars "is it them?! Are they back?!" Amy frantically asks worried about their sisters safety the oldest grimes child puts a comforting hand on her blonde best friends back as she knows what it's like to worry about the person you love most getting hurt. "Well I'll be dammed" Dale breaths out "what is it?!" Amy still frantically asks "a stolen car is my guess"

All of a sudden a red car pulls up from blaring all over the hills. Glenn jumps out of the car with a massive grin his eyes automatically locking with his best friend, Lexa can't help but smile back despite wanting to rip her ears off. Glenn holds his arms open for the blonde girl and within seconds she propelled herself into the safety of the asian boys arms

Their reunions cut short as Dale yells "HOLY CRAP TURN THAT DAMN THING OFF" Glenn finally let's Lexa go of his death grip and proceeds to yell over the blaring "I DONT KNOW HOW" as Shane starts yelling at the boy to pop the hood and Amy starts frantically asking about her sister Lexa decides it's time to walk away with her hands cupped over her ears before she spontaneously combusts

The yelling went on for a few most minutes after the alarm was turned off and Dale decides to scorn Glenn "it wouldn't hurt you to think things through a little more carefully next time!" He states pointing a finger at the pizza Boy "sorry. Got a cool car?" Glenn try's to be the optimist making Lexa giggle at her friends dorky-ness

A big truck pulls up and everyone who went on the run minus Merle Dixon all got out and rushed to hug their loved ones. Lexa takes a deep breath before turning her gaze to the ground wishing she could hug her father once last time feeling tears prick at her eyes, she loved her father more than anyone in the world. She of course loved her mother too but Rick and Lexa shared something that she would never have with her mother. he was her home, and having him ripped away from her in such a violent way make Lexa want to throw up every time she thought about that fact that she, unlike the other families all smiling around her, would never get him back.

Lori sees both of her kids in duress being reminded of the passing of their father and gently pulls them over a bit away from the group "come her sweeties" She calmly lowers herself down to Carl's hight as Lexa stand behind Carl with her arms wrapped around his shoulders and her chin rested on her head as she fights back tears while her mother tries to comfort them.

Morales, another member of the group, randomly calls "hey helicopter boy! Come say hello"

Lexa looks over and once she gets a look at the sight in front of her her heart start to pound violently in her chest

Rick Grimes. He was alive, her father was alive and standing right in front of her. Lexa had to blink a few times ,making some tears fall out, to make sure she wasnt hallucinating and that her father was indeed alive and well in front of her "daddy?" She whispers getting the attention of her brother and mother who both look at her before following her line of sight

"Oh my god" Rick manages to breath out relief filling every finer of his being seeing his little girl, boy and wife all alive Within a mere seconds Lexa takes off with even more tears falling down her face blurring her vision she sprints to her father with her baby brother right on her trail "DAD!" They both scream out.

Lexa is the first in her dads arms flinging hers around his neck while he secures his around her back squeezing her tightly afraid she might disappear, tears flowing freely down her face "oh, lex" Rick whispers into her hair swaying his first child in his arms before they abruptly fall to the floor Carl joining the hug "Carl, Oh!" Rick could barely speak with the feeling of having both his kids in his arms again. A fourth set of arms join the hug as Lori wraps her arms around her supposedly dead husband also in a state of shock. The whole camp watch's In joy as the family finally reunites a moment filled with tears and kisses.
