Episode 18 "One more day"

Weeks later

Jay's POV "after what happened with Amelia, Hailey took a few days to be with her, Amelia did not suffer any trauma and was happier than ever, I have stayed several nights at Hailey's house, I wait for Amelia to fall asleep and Hailey takes me straight to the room, I love spending time with them, the other night Hailey told me that she loved me, I just kissed her and didn't say anything, it had been a while since someone really loved me, I wanted to tell her, I just didn't know how"..

Hailey's POV "It was morning, Jay's alarm went off at 5:00 AM, he was leaving before Amelia woke up, we hadn't told him yet, with everything that happened, we decided to wait, the team knew it, Vanessa too , Voight said that as long as it doesn't interfere with work it's fine" "hmm...Jay turn that off" I said and put a pillow on my head "uhmm..I'm coming now" he said with a sleepy voice, he turned off the alarm and hugged me, kissed my neck "5 more minutes" I whispered  "I have to go...Amelia is almost awake" whispered Jay, "okay" I said still with my eyes closed, Jay stood up and started to get dressed, put on his pants and sat on the edge of the bed to put on his shoes I wrapped my arms around his neck "I love you" I said as I kissed him behind the ear "uhmmm" Jay said and closed his eyes "don't go" I whispered "what about Amelia" he said "I don't know...I just want stay here" I said, he turned around and started kissing me, I lay down on the bed, he kept kissing me, he put his hand under my blouse and started caressing my stomach "hmm..Jay" I moaned, I started to unbutton his pants, then the phone rang "oh God" I said laughing, Jay gave me one last kiss and took his phone "Halstead... I understand sergeant, if I go there" he said and hung up "work?" I said, he nodded, then my phone rang "Sergeant Voight" popped up on my screen "sarge...yeah okay...I'll have Halstead pick me up" I said and hung up "I guess it'll be for another day Upton" Jay said as he walked away I was dressed "idiot" I said laughing, I got dressed and called the babysitter..

Kim's POV "Voight called us for a new case, it was 7 am, we arrived at the crime scene, forensics were already there examining the crime scene" "Officer Burgess, this is Officer Ruzek, what have we got" I said as I put on my gloves "two shots to the head, .38 caliber, it was from close range, we haven't been able to identify him yet, he doesn't have a wallet or identification papers" he said, we ducked "a robbery gone wrong" said Adam "no I know...let's see his face" I said, we turned them "you know him" said Adam "he's my informant...well he was" I said...
