Her POV

I woke up with my head sandwiched between Toms shoulder and head making me smile and rub my eye then shoot my head up,

"Shit!"I said rushing to my bag

"Y/n"Tom groaned

"I'm late for work!!!"I said slipping my shoes off and heard him chuckle as I ran out the door and quickly arrived in my leggings and a small top with an awkward smile

"Your late!"Greg said

"And you look absolutely dashing today!"I replied as a joke putting my apron on

"You can't charm me out of this!"he added as I took someone order

"But I sure can try!"I replied with a childish grin and he rolled his eyes

"Also did you see my email?"I asked making a coffee now

"Yes! And it's fine for you to take those days off...if you make it to the airport on time!"he added and I rolled my eyes

"What? airport?"Jess asked confused appearing from her smoke break

"I've got a student Paris trip in just a few days!"I said with a smile giving a man his coffee

"Ooo how frivolous!"she replied and I smiled as we began working and it was an extremely busy morning and both Greg and Jess were on lunch now and no one was in here so I was slouched over the counter as I was so tired from all the essay writing
I was taken from my thoughts when I heard someone slide something slide across the counter towards me and looked up to see Tom

"Hey!"I said with a smile to which he returned

"Hi!"he said and slid something wrapped in brown paper towards me and I looked at him confused

"A thank you for yesterday!"he replied and I grinned from ear to ear

"Open it!!"he said with a smile and I was so shocked but I smiled opening it ripping the paper off to see the special addition of the book I've wanted forever

"Omg!"I said slowly in shock

"And it's signed!"he added with a grin and I opened to see it signed

"Oh my god!"I said again super excited and made my way around the counter

His POV

"Oh my god!"she said running around the counter and jumped into my arms as we smiled ear to ear and I held her up as he legs wrapped around my waist and she squeezed me and I shook her side to side

"You didn't have to do that!"she said sliding back onto the ground

"And you didn't have to help me write my essay...twice!"I replied both of us smiling like idiots and she picked the book up and stared at it tracing her fingers over it

"Thank you!"she said and hugged me again tightly to which I returned, I loved hugging her

"No PDA people this is a public business!"Y/ns boss said as we broke away

"Firstly no one's here! Secondly we're just friends!"she said back to him

"Well unless your friends buying something! He needs to stop distracting my employees!"He added

"Sorry sir!"I shouted and he huffed disappearing into the back and y/n smiled at me

"Coffee?"she asked

"Please! But to go because I've got to go back to uni!"I added and she smiled quickly making my drink and handing it to me as I went to pay

"Nope! It's on the house!"she said with a smile
