Okay this is a reading app so it doesn't hurt to read bios. (Probably my favorite tip 😇)
Do NOT advertise your books on someone else's message board or book.
Most of the time people will say on their bio if they don't like it. It only takes seconds to read.
If you advertise then don't be surprised if someone blows up at you or blocks you even if you were being polite.
Books well this is why you shouldn't advertise your stories in someone else book

Not only are you a poacher but it's hella rude. It takes attention away from their story that they also worked hard on.
That being said I no longer take reading requests in dms either. Some Arabic person asked me to vote on their story which I don't understand the language but was being nice so did so. After I asked for votes in return being it was only fair they blocked me... I wish I could go back and unvote.
