Class A was going on a non-training related field trip. The staff figured they were long overdue for a normal school trip. They'd decided on doing one of those mountain inns. The students could hike, use the hot springs, and overall relax.

The inn wasn't large, but it had enough rooms for every if the students paired up for two per room. Mineta and Kaminari were both left at the school because of exam results and attendance limits, which left them with nine rooms used altogether for students.

The rooms were determined by both seating arrangements and overall knowledge of who tolerated who.

The teachers had come across one tiny problem, though. pairings. The teachers seemed to have thought it over and given up on looking to switch around rooms, leaving things as they were.

So as they called out the arrangements, they waited until they were handing out keys to the rooms.

It wasn't that Katsuki didn't want to go on this trip. He did. He sincerely, truly did. But he couldn't sleep without nightlights. He'd tried to force a few nights after the trip's date was set and it went badly every time. He always had nightmares, and if the room was dark when he woke up, he'd panic further. He didn't like the feeling.

They hadn't said anything about sleeping arrangements aside of the fact that everyone would be paired up in partners.

Now, they were finally starting who was with who. The problem? It was too late to prepare for who he might've been with. He was doomed.

"Room one, Aoyama and Iida. Here's the key, the room is at the end of the hall on the left side" The two glanced at each other before shrugging and accepting the key. He watched as the two walked down the hallway with their suitcases.

"Room two, Ashido and Asui. Here's the key, you're across from them" They grinned at each other, accepting the key and dragged their bags to their room.

"Room four, Uraraka and Yaoyorozu. Key's here, you're next to Asui and Ashido's room" Again, the pair shrugged at each other, though they had smiles, as they grabbed their key and left.

"Room three, Koda and Sato. Here's the key. You're next to room one, so left side, second to last" Koda gave Sato a thumbs up as the other got the key. They walked down the hallway to their room.

"Room five, Kirishima and Sero. You're next to room four, here's the key" Both of them high-fived and raced down the hallway with their key and bags.

"Jirou and Hagakure, you're in room six. Your key is here and you're next to room three" The invisible girl gave a quiet "yes!" as the two made their way to their room.

"Room seven, Ojiro and Shoji. Left side, here's the key" They fist bumped each other and left.

"Room eight, Tokoyami and Todoroki. Next to Ojiro and Shoji, here's the key" The two nodded at each other but cast weary glances as Katsuki and... Midoriya.
