Chapter 8: After the brain

"I loved the song but what was that for?" I frown and Lena frowns too "We are on our honeymoon Kara"

"We found where brainiac is" Lenas eyes go wide "He made a move for earth after we beat him I will return and we can finish the honeymoon with everyone in Hawaii ok?"

"You best return to me" I nod and she pulls me down to a kiss "I love you so much Kara Luthor"

"I love you so much Lena Luthor" I kiss her again and step back "I have to go ok? Make sure the girls all know I love them..just in case ok babe"

"You will be back" I nod with teary eyes as she lets some fall "Now go save earth and hurry back!"

I nod and quickly change into my suit. I zoom out so I do not stop myself. I am needed for this mission. I land at the Hall of Justice and see the Zeta open.

I follow them to the watchtower. We just get inside when the red alert rings. The non supers run for the space suits. Once inside we head outside to see a huge ship and small ones.

They blast at the tower and we know we are at war. Only certain shots seem to hit though. I think Barry notices cause him and Oliver start sending plans. They have certain ships marked.

"Alright" I look over at Alex, Kelly, Clark, Linda, and Karen "It is time to kick some planet killer ass!"

"For what he did to Krypton" I nod and we all turn to the big ship "We do not leave until his collection is able to be returned and he is taken care of"

"Agreed" I crack my knuckles and smirk "Let's go finish what this bastard started years ago when he blew us up"

We zoom toward the big ship while the others take down the small ones. We smash through and a force field goes up after. We smash through boys as we make our way to the main room.

Cyborg has finally gotten the schematics scanned. We follow them as more bots come. The League may join us by the time we get there. I stop everyone when I see a big room on the map.

We turn right and knock the door down. There are so many jars. We look around and I realize where we are. I realize what all of these jars are.

"It is the captured planets" I go down the alphabet and find what I was hoping for "Mythen is here!"

"Saved a moon" I nod and Clark comes over "I will return this close enough for us to visit ok? But first we need to take care of the head"

"I could help" We turn to see Brainy with Nia "I am set up for this ship...it is my fate to spend years in it to bring back peace to the galaxy! To fix what Brainics before me have ruined for everyone before me as well"

"You are a hero" Brainy smiles and I look at Nia "Go make sure everyone is safe"

"Will do mom" I smile and she starts to hover "Just please do not get mad that I super powered Banshee"

"What?!" She is quickly gone and I glare at Clark "We are having a talk after this!"

He nods with a gulp. We leave the room after marking it and go back on our hunt. It takes a bit but we finally reach him. He does a slow clap from his throne.

"You all have actually made it in here" He slowly rises "I see you have also taken out my bots"

"We killed Darkseid" The league rush in to our side "What makes you think we fear you?"

"Because I am powerful!" He pushes a button and bots come from no where "These have kryptonite in them! Your super powers will not work!"

"Sucks for them" Barry smirks and the non supers get ready "We do not have powers"

They rush the boys while we rush him. He does a good job beating us while weak. We need the bots out of here. That will be our only chance of winning.

"You can not just fight without us!" We turn to see the Young Justice team and titans running in "What the hell?! We want to protect earth too!"

"This was not in the numbers!" I punch him toward Clark who clocks him "What is this?!"

"Family bitch!" I turn again to see my family here "Sorry honey but I am joining the league and kicking ass!"

"I will not stop you mom" I punch Brainiac with my power that has returned at her "This is yours!"

"THIS IS FOR TRYING TO HURT MY FAMILY!" Mom punches him and he goes flying into a wall "That felt so good!"

"Let me get a try then!" Lena zooms at him and starts throwing punches "You killed my wife's planet! I am going to end you!"

"She is hot" I push Kate away and drool over my girl "We should probably stop her"

I nod and zoom over "He is done" She backs off and I drag him to the middle "We destroyed all of your bots and you are injured"

"I can not lose" He tries to stand up but Clark puts a foot on his back "You can not do this!"

"You are what I was created for" Brainy sits on the throne and his eyes glow "I am sending all of the planets and moons back! This will be my last thing I ever do!"

"Wait!" I try to stop him but get knocked back "What are you doing?!"

"When you kill brainiac I will no longer exist" Brainy gives a smile toward us all "I am glad you all were my friends and like family to me...I will miss you all even if I do not exist anymore...I love you all so much guys"

We all step away from brainiac but a bullet hits him. I see the bot fall as a timer starts going off. We run past the planet room and see them all gone. We get outside just in time.

The ship explodes and we get launched away. I turn back when able and see we have two moons. We get back to the tower and it is silent. I let my tears finally fall.

I feel my body get pulled into Lena. I look out and see Mithen is out there. Brainy got it into our orbit. I got a moon back but lost a very good friend.

"He will be missed dearly" I sniffle as Lena rubs my back "We should go check on Nia"

"She is with Banshee" Mom walks over with Alex "You going to be ok?"

"No" I start sobbing and they hold me "He is gone"

The tower is filled with silence as we morn. We all end up staying in the tower rooms. No one is needed at home right now. We all just want to be with each other while we miss our friend.

Everything good comes at a cost, it just hurts that it was brainy of all people. I can only hope that tomorrow brings a better day of peace. Cause after that situation we all need some calm.

The Hawaii trio is going to be good for us all.
