Chapter 13: Still going normal?

-Kara pov-
"Lena behind you!" I walk behind her with Drea in my arms "Hey! When did you get your bracelet off?! No do not take off Lilys!"

"I got them!" Lena takes her bracelet off and quickly rushes after them "Come to Mama!"

"When did they get so smart?" I almost drop Drea when she bites my hand "Hey! I thought you loved mommy!"

"They all took of their bracelets" Lena sighs and places then back on "It has been a month you think Alex could watch them?"

"No she has manager duty at Walmart" Lena sighs and then cringes "You are on diaper duty today"

"I am losing my mind!" Lena sits down and puts her head in her hands "I...I just thought we would be great! I just wanted our lives to be normal!"

"I guess being an alien ruins that" She nods at my joke and I frown "I was joking...do you think I really ruined it?"

"Well you can always look and see" We both jump as Myx stands next to a theater set up "What reality do you want to see first?"

I hear a gasp "Kara I am so sor~"

"It is fine" I motion Myx to go on "Just push play"

He nods and he places the tape on the spool. It whirs to life and we watch as I come into place.

-Non super Kara world-
I walk down the street and look up at a tall building. I take a deep breath before going inside. This is Luthor Corp. I have to be impressive for this job.

Clark has come down with sickness and mom is doing bad. Money is getting too tight. If only I had not gone to college. I sigh as I walk to the elevator and then out to the main floor.

I followed moms footsteps on becoming a scientist. Difference is she was not able to keep up. She has grown old and now it is my turn. I walk straight to the lady who looks like the assistant.

"Uh h-hi!" She looks up at me with a soft smile "I am Kara Zorel"

"You are the interview appointment?" I nod and she looks at the computer before frowning "You are late"

"Please I had to walk" the door opens and I turn toward the dark haired Luthor and her brother "Lex?"

"Kara?" I nod and Lex looks at me with a smile "How are you? I have not heard from Clark in a while!"

"He is sick badly" I look at Lena "I had to walk so my mom had the vehicle! I promise I will never be late again Mam!"

"First impressions are everything" Lenas face is sincere and unchanging "You do not just get to be late when you want"

"Come on sis" Lena glares at Lex "She is intelligent! Her cousin is my old roommate!"

Lena rolls her eyes and looks at me "Fine" She walks over and pokes my chest hard "One mistake and you will be fired!"

"Y-yes Mam" She walks away and I look at Lex "Thank you"

"I can only protect you so much ok?" He looks over at the assistant "Take care of her ok Jess?"

"Yes sir!" Jess stands up with a smile "Follow me!"

-Time skip of one year-
"You are so damn useless! I bet it was you stealing from us!" I hold back the tears as Lena stands beside police "Your mother became deathly ill and you just kept asking for a raise! You had to have stole from me for the last time! Use your call for your mom cause you are going to jail!"

"No please!" I struggle as the police start arresting me "Please Lena! Please!"

-Currently-
"TURN IT OFF!" Myx does and I look at a shaking Lena "I turned into Old Lilian! How did Lex become good?"

"No Superman" Myx moves the tape away "No jealousy means friends, friends means love, and that means he was not under Lilian's hand"

"Start it back up" Lena looks at me shocked "This is what you wanted! Normal me! So watch it!"

Myx sighs as he puts it back in.

-2 years gone by-
"I am sorry I failed you all" I sniffle as I look at the graves "I love you all so much...I am sorry for what I have to do next"

-Time skip-
I take a deep breath as I sneak into the office. The police already got tipped off by someone. I look at the lady of my pain sitting in her chair. She looks so shocked to see me.

"You killed them" I fight the tears back "You killed my family...you lied about me stealing and killed them off! You made me unable to get a job!"

"Kara I had no idea it was cancer" I scoff and pull the gun out as I step closer "K-Kara think about this ok?"

"I have had years to think about this!" I hold the gun up and cock it "YOU TOOK THEM ALL! I TRIED TO TELL YOU BUT YOU TURNED ME AWAY! ALL BECAUSE I ASKED YOU OUT AND THEN YOU SAID NO! ALL BECAUSE I DATED SOMEONE WHILE YOU DECIED YOU WANTED ME!...this is karma"

"Put the gun down Zorel" I turn and see my old officer friend Alex Danvers holding a gun "I came alone and will sit this down...talk it out ok?"

"She took them Alex" I turn back to Lena angry "There is no more talking...she took them from me because I said no"

"Kara my company struggled when you left" I growl and she puts her hands up "When I fired you! I can hire you back! Double the pay!"

"Money means nothing when you are dead" I put my finger over the trigger and hear Alex cock her gun "I had to sell myself to try and save my mom...now Lex gets to make the world better with your image"

I pull the trigger and then get shot. I watch Lena fall dead as I bleed out. I hear yelling and footsteps but it starts to fade. I look up and see my family holding their arms out toward me.

I finally get to be with them again.

-Currently-
The room is deathly silent as the tape stops. Myx walks over and takes Drea. He snaps a portal and grabs the other two. I see a confused Eliza as it closes.

"Kara?" I look at the sight on the screen "Kara that is one in a million!"

"You really want me to not be a alien that bad?" I turn toward her slowly "You know how it feels? How it feels to have to hide my life from them? To never be able to show them their powers! I would have loved my mom or dad to show me! I AM NOT LUCKY ENOUGH TO HAVE THEM LENA!"

"I am scared" She shakes her head and tears start falling "I am scared of them not being able to fit in"

"We can only help them if they know" I walk over to her and crouch in front of her "After I learned I could master my powers more! I was able to be me...I do not want them to be ashamed or scared of what their mommy is"

"I never thought about that" Lena sighs and sniffles "I am so sorry Kara"

"Just talk to me ok?" I cup her face and smile "I am your wife remember?"

Lena smiles and nods "Good Lex was weird right?" I nod and we both chuckle "I mean he even called me sis! SIS!"

"I see you two are better?" We both look at a smiling Myx "You know what is needed"

"I think we have a few different jobs you could do if you wanted" Myx eyes go wide "But you will now be Max Zel"

"Really?!" I nod and he rushes over then hugs us "THANK YOU!"

We hug him back and I am so happy we have a new member to our family. Myx, I mean max, has been such a help recently. Maybe he can finally becomes someone else problem.

But for now I can put up with him being our problem.
