Mikaki slowly opened her eyes to only see fire engulfing their house.
"Witch!"
"Kill the witch!!!"
"Burn them!!!"
"Witch!!"
Mikaki frowned in confusion. She slowly get into her knees then to stand.
She can't remember anything.
She walks to the back door to avoid the screaming peoples.
She bit back a gasp when suddenly a log dropped from the ceiling as she scurried away to avoid it.
She cough when the smoke got into her lungs.
Where's Mother? Father? Nii-san?
She stumbled out the burning house as she coughed away the smoke as she wheeze.
"Mikaki!" She heard a voice as she turn back. She sniffed when she saw her brother running to her as he cradled a cloth in his arms.
"Nii-san!" She cried as she hugged her brother as he chuckled and ruffled her hair
"It's okay I'm here now" he cooed as he wipe her tears away "now let's go, there's some crazy people here" he said as he put her hair into a nice loose bun and secure her head with the headscarf.
He grab her hand as they ran to the waterfall on the side of the little village.
Mikaki look back and saw their house burning while people were screaming.
"W-where's mother and father?" She asked as her brother stopped and look back at her.
"T-they're gone" He said tears fall from his eyes as Mikaki pouted in confusion
"Where did they gone to?" She asked as her brother shake his head and hug her
"T-they're gone Mika-chan...t-they...they" Her brother sobbed as Mikaki frowned understanding the situation and hugged her brother as tight
"Witch!!" The people screamed again
"Come on let's go!" Her brother took hold of her hand as they ran away from the angry mob.
"We got you witch!!!"
Mikaki and her brother reached the cliff of the waterfall as her brother sobbed "no"
A man holding a torch looked at them in disgust as he threw rocks
"You witch! Die!!" The man screamed as Mikaki's brother hold his sister tight
"N-no please,go away!" The boy cried hugging his sister tight as Mikaki whimpered
"Your mother cursed this village!!! You deserve to die!!" The man threw a rock again until...
Mikaki's brother gasps when he felt that they're nearing the edge of the cliff.
He greeted his teeth as he grab a large stick as he held it as a weapon "STAY AWAY!!!" He screamed at the man as he tried to save her sister.
The man paid to mind as he threw a larger rock that hit Mikaki's head.
Mikaki loose footing as she dropped from the cliff
Mikaki's eyes widened as she slips off the cliff
"Mikaki!!!" The boy screamed his little sister's name as he went to get her but it's too late
As if it's in slow motion,her brother screamed as he runs to his sister's hand but she was slowly falling down the cliff
"Miiikaaakiii!!!" The boy screamed in horror as he got held back from jumping to his falling sister
