i'm sorry this came so late - and it's long overdue.
*this note speaks about mental health.i wrote this 9 years ago (2013). i was a really young teenager who had a passion for writing. i remember writing a new chapter for Wrapped Up Tight every few days, i was so excited to be writing a new book.
i wrote a lot about mental health in this book because i was struggling with undiagnosed mental health issues at the time. i wanted to make other people feel less alone through this book, through a character that was portrayed to be so intimidating - but deep down there was some sort of struggle.
as time passed by my mental health got worse and i lost my drive to write. i lost the drive to do anything, hence the years difference between certain chapters.
i decided to stop at chapter 23 (which is now taken down because it's a cringey chapter about s*x), which is understandably really underwhelming. but that's all i could afford to do - i didn't know how else to continue this story because i lost my passion for writing in view of my declining mental health.
i never sought professional help till 2018. eventually, i was diagnosed with dysthymia and panic disorder and was on daily medication. i've weaned off my medication independently and i'm much better - though some days are horrible. but i'll be okay.
i'm sincerely so sorry for disappointing you. i know you expected more from me and it was a huge let down. i'm so so sorry x
