Leah's P.O.V

Soft snores filled my ears as I woke up from a deep sleep. I turned my head to see Vinnie, his head on my shoulder with his arm wrapped around my body tightly. A smile appeared on my face at the sight of him in his peaceful slumber. I placed a kiss on his forehead and moved the strands of hair from his face. His tired eyes slowly opened to look at me, a smile appeared on his face which caused me to giggle.

"Morning sleepy head" I said, placing another kiss on his cheek.

"Good morning baby" He mumbled with the raspy tone that I love so much.

"You look so cute when you're asleep" I giggled, running my hand over his arm.

"Oh shush" He mumbled, rubbing his eyes.

"Do you have anything to do today?" I asked, watching him, admiring how fucking gorgeous he is.

"I have to go home to grab some things" He said softly. Home... to his psycho dad?

"I'm coming with you" I said sternly, he looked at me with the 'don't even think about it' look. 

"You're not coming" He said whilst getting up and putting his pants on.

"Yes I am" I said once more, getting up as well.

"You're not" He said sternly, putting his shirt on.

"Vinnie I'm not letting you go there alone" I said solemnly. He came into the bathroom and wrapped his arms around my waist.

"You wont like what you'll see" He whispered, he sounded a little scared like I might judge him or see him differently because of his dad.

"I'm coming" I said once more, grabbing my toothbrush and toothpaste.

Once we arrived at Vinnie's house he took my hand and opened the front door. I could feel my heart pounding in my chest, anxiously waiting to see what is behind the door. Cigarette buds were all over the floor, burn marks on the nice dark wooden floor boards and the strong smell of tobacco filled my nose.

"Vincent!" A loud deep voice screamed.

"You wait here" He said, letting go of my hand. He walked around the corner of a wall.

"Where the fuck have you been! You haven't been home in days!" The angry voice yelled, a loud bang came from the room he walked into.

"I've been at a friends house for god sake" Vinnie yelled, soon after I heard another loud bang, Vinnie began to groan and yell. Panic filled my body, I ran into the room, shattered glass was all over the carpet, alcohol dripped down the wall and there Vinnie was with his dad over him punching him repeatedly.

"Stop it!" I screamed, but he didn't. I grabbed another empty bottle off of the table and threw it at the wall to get Vinnie's dads attention. The man stopped, turned and looked at me.

"Who is this" His dad said while standing up, as he stepped forward I stepped backwards.

"M-My girlfriend" Vinnie said weakly from behind him. My eyes widened at Vinnie's choice of words.

"Girlfriend huh" The man said, looking me up and down as if he were judging me.

"Please just sit down, I'll get you some w-water" I muttered nervously, the man stared for a few more seconds and sat back down on the couch. I walked over to Vinnie and helped him up from the ground. His lip was cut and bleeding, his cheeks began to swell and his eye had already started to bruise. I brought him into the kitchen and sat him on the dining chairs while I got his father water. I brought the water into the living room and placed it on the table without looking at the man sitting down in front of me.

"Thank you" He grumbled, picking the glass up. I nodded and walked back to Vinnie.

We both walked upstairs to his room without saying a word. Vinnie was quick to unpack his back, quickly grabbing new clothes to replace his dirty ones. I took his dirty clothes and placed it in his dirty basket.

"I'm gonna take a shower" He said while pulling his shirt over his head, my eyes darted to his abs which caused him to giggle.

"O-Okay y-yeah" I managed to say.

"Shower with me?" He said with a smile. I quickly nodded and started to strip down.

Vinnie placed his dirty clothes in the washing basket and walked into the bathroom to turn on the shower. Once I got all my clothes off I placed them nicely on his bed for when I get out. I walked into the bathroom to see him in the shower already and let me tell you it is the most breathtaking thing I have ever seen.

"Are you just going to stand there or are you gonna come join me?" He said with a laugh.

"Y-Yeah coming" I mumbled while opening the glass door and stepping in. His hands reached for my waist and pulled me into the water. I quickly stepped out once my body was wet and grabbed shampoo, opening it and pouring some into my hand.

"No I want to do it" He said demandingly, wiping the soap off of my hand onto his. I began to giggle as he massaged it into my hair.

Once we finished showering we dried ourselves and changed we went downstairs to leave. The sound of arguing and a woman crying filled my ears more with each step I took.

"My mums finally home" Vinnie whispered, taking my hand. 

"Vinnie is that you?" His mum said from the lounge room. 

"Uh yeah" Vinnie responded, getting his wallet out of his back pocket. A woman appeared at the door way, her eyes were red, her lips chapped, hickeys all over her neck and tears dripping down her cheek. 

"Who is this?" His mum said while looking at me.

"My girlfriend" He responded, which caused me to smile. Girlfriend huh?

"Where are you going?" She asked, looking back at him.

"To her house" He responded bluntly, taking money out of his wallet and putting it on the table. 

"For how long?" She asked, tears still running down her cheek. 

"A while" He responded as he walked toward the front door. 

Vinnie quickly opened the door and began to run toward his car. It was unexpected but my legs managed to catch on quicker then my brain did. I could hear his mum and dad yelling his name as we ran. He opened the passenger door for me and I got in, closing it behind me. Once Vinnie was in he started the car and began to drive. In the corner of my eye I could see two people running from his house toward the car. We just missed them.

I'm sorry this chapter was rushed, i have really fucking long nails on and it took me ages to write because i kept typing the wrong letters so if theres spelling mistakes im sorry i need to go through chapters and edit them when i have the time :)
