The last 2 months had been so difficult.
Extremely difficult...
"Hajunie.." You say sleepily sitting up from the hospital bed, Hajoon was laying half awake at your feet probably looking after you the whole night which was completely unnecessary since the doctors did tell him that there was nothing physically wrong with you and you were already completely recovered, but once he hears your voice calling out for him his eyes fully opened before scrambling out of his chair to your side to lay you back down down on the bed.
"You should get some more rest Y/n-ah" he says pulling up the blanket to your chest. " I should be the one saying that to you Jun-ah" you say poking him on the side. "I'm fine, really. I'm even getting discharged today" you half lie.
"I'm just worried Y/n-ie..." he trails off brushing the few loose strands of hair off your face.
" I know you are Junie, thank you so much for taking care of me, but you should also take care of yourself Jun-ah you barely have gotten any sleep since you flew over here"
He smiles at you softly before sitting beside you on the bed. " I promise to get a proper rest... once we get to Korea, okay? For now, I want to cuddle with my cute little teddy bear" he says before lying down beside you, embracing you from above the covers. A small smile forms on your face as you hug him back. A little while later you both fell asleep in each other's embrace.
5 hours later
"Did you forget anything else Y/n-ah? "
Hajun says zipping up the luggage bag that was laid out on the bed.
"Uhmmm...Yep, nothing else" you say after quickly scanning the room for anything you may have forgotten. You then take your phone from the nightstand as Hajun puts the luggage bag onto the floor. You were about to wear your coat, until someone knocks on the door. "Come in" you say, expecting a nurse that was going to help you with a few medical documents before you leave the hospital, but you halt seeing Yuuto standing by the door.
You haven't seen him since the day he confessed, as he left to give you space for you to fully process everything that had happened. You don't even know what kind of relationship you have at the moment.
An uncomfortable silence filled the room, not until it was broken as Hajoon sighed and pulled up the handle off the luggage bag.
"I'll give you guys some space to talk for a while" he drags the bag to the door. "I'll be at the lobby waiting" he says to you before leaving the room.
The room was silent for quite a while both of you not knowing what to say.
You breathe in deeply after a few minutes before sitting down on the small couch that was there, motioning him to sit next to you. He immediately complies sitting down next to you.
" So uhm, what brings you here? " You say quietly as you start fiddling with your fingers. " Ah- I told the doctor to contact me when you get discharged... I'm sorry for not telling you " He says keeping his head down.
"Oh- it's fine you don't have to say sorry" you reply. " So uhm..." you trail off not knowing what to say " How are you and Aiko? " You ask, the first thing that had come to your mind.
"Uhhm- we are doing fine. She has been visiting me from time to time at ou- my house while you were here" he says " Have you taken her out on a date? " You ask quietly
"Yeah, only once but I wouldn't really count it as a date we just coincidentally bumped into each other at a restaurant and we just ate at the same table, we even had separate bills... I- I just couldn-" he stops in the middle of his sentence taking a deep breathe in.
"I just couldn't and still can't process all that had happened in such a short span of time. Our bond broke, I have a new soulmate, and you suddenly collapsed and didn't wake up for 2 weeks. So much has happened and I just feel so overwhelmed" he says his head still low as tears drop on to his clothes.
You lean in to engulf him in a warm hug, making him let out a choked sob as more tears fall from his eyes. You wrap your hands around his body slowly rubbing his back as tears threatened to fall from your own eyes.
"I'm so sorry that you had to go through all of this Yuuto" You whisper as you lean your head onto his shoulder, he continues to sob in your embrace, your own tears threatening to fall as his hands grip onto your clothes.

"Please message me from time to time, just so that I know you're okay" Yuuto whispers hugging you even tighter a part of him not wanting to let you go knowing that this would probably be the last time he'll see you for a while.
" I will " you reassure him as you both finally break away from the hug.
"We need to board our flight soon" Hajun rubs your back as he takes his luggage. A heavy feeling builds up in your chest not entirely ready to leave as this was your home for the last couple of months.
"Let's see each other again soon, yeah?" he smiles sadly stepping back as the urge to cry takes you over as you smile back at him.
You gather your luggage turning your back as your chest feels heavier, you didn't really know what else to do other than go back to Korea and figure out how everything happened or at the very least let everything sit in.
Once you set foot in the airport you couldn't help yourself but drop your luggage and run back to Yuuto and engulf him in a huge hug, finally letting yourself cry in his embrace.
"Oh, my precious girl" he whispers "why are you crying hm?" he gets no response from you as he sighs rubbing your back.
"This is not goodbye forever, Y/n-ah. We'll see each other again"
"I promise"
