Adams POV

1

1774, oh how I'll never forget that year.

The year I met my George. My brave, tall, calm, graceful George ♡

It was the year in 1774 somewhere in Boston. I was working as a delegate in the office, tired and stressed out as always since the British were planning their next attack somewhere, so we needed to be ready. *sighs* I'm already dealing with so much in my years but it's what we do just to get away rather from the King's inner must in power.

That day we were looking for a good commander in charge of our battles. "Alrighty so we will all meet this new guy from Virginia, so please let's all welcome him!" John Jay announced smiling. "O-o-o-o-ok..." I whispered softly, I feel my curls hiding some of my views, hiding my brown orbs from the public. Just then the door opened.

There he was, a tall man with white curls and his suit with black high boots. "Nyah!" I shouted while blushing intensely. He's so....so....

C u t e !?!?!?!?

"Sorry I was late, I had quite a travel all the way from Virginia." The man than gave such a cheeky chuckle while putting a hand back. I remember having the color of strawberry jam all over my face for the rest of his arrival here. "Well now that you're here, why not you now introduce yourself to the Congress and how your service will come in handy for the foreseeable future." Benjamin answered, clasping his hands together.

The cute man than spoke, "Well.." he cleared his throat. "My name is George Washington, I came from Virginia with a background of solid ground and hard discipline. I had helped during the war against the French and Indians, I was there to help assist my Commander when he was down in Monongahela and to make the first move in Fort Necessity. Right there proves that on my military background. And...I also believe that we should depart from Great Britain for we have been oppressed from the King for far too long! I guarantee to this Continental Congress that I will keep my word to the end when I say that I won't fail to disappoint you all!." He than exhaled out and than nodded.

A hard working man I can see, how mesmerized I was by his way with words and emotion. I couldn't stop looking at him, I mean by golly the way he just looks and stands firmly is quite making me feel all... tingly. I kept staring at his appearance until SAMUEL ADAMS had to interrupt it all. "Adams, the vote is to you as Delegate as Congress!" He shouted. I quickly got my consciousness back and then gave him a stare. By golly what a bastard he could be! Can't a man dream of another man without his Nosy companion! Ughh!

I took a deep breath before nodding my head. "I say that we should put him on the battle field." I tried to appear serious but I just couldn't look at George's attractive appearance, so I closed my eyes. "Mmm I say that we get Greene to take Lieutenant- General and Commander. He seems more experienced than Washington." Jay replied, this made George a bit disappointed and signed. He was ready to leave already and I simply couldn't just sit in my chair and not do much, I took action.

"But Greene doesn't h-have much experience in battle! Remember we simply must find the best man for the job and from what he has told us and his military background, he's qualified for this role! We would all be amateurs to let go of such a decent man!" I sat down and folded my arms, I simply didn't want to let him leave. Not because of the war, but in general I wouldn't want this to be my first and last time meeting him, the fear of not being to see him saddens my heart!

The Congress than all looked at eachother, and than they all looked at George. "Exciting news Washington, the Congress has decided to make you Lieutenant- General and Commander for all armies of the colonies. " Samuel smiled, and everyone clapped. I could see his face light up and smile! "I promise I will take Great responsibilities for this role, I am honored!"

Later I was in one of the nearest Inns in Boston since it was quite dark and I needed to rest up before making my trip back. I was prepared for bed until I got a knock on my door. "Who could that be at this time?" I questioned. I than opened my door and than saw a letter on my porch. I picked it up and took it to my desk, I carefully opened it and read it.

" SEPTEMBER 14TH, 1774

JOHN ADAMS,

For having the role of Lieutenant- General and Commander of all armies, it would like to give you personal gratitude for it back there. As for that, I'd like to join you for Breakfast tomorrow morning, it's my treat!

GEORGE WASHINGTON"

I was blushing, Oh my word! He wants to accompany me tomorrow morning! Oh how I laid on my bed on such a careless but in a good way. I better get to bed just to get myself ready for tomorrow.
