"Y/N, Y/N WAKE UP" the five year old curly haired boy said jumping on your bed hapily "what is it Camilo?" You groaned turning away to face the wall, "do you remember waht day it is?" He asked "uhh i don't know sunday?" He pouted "no silly, it's my gift ceremony today"
You jumped up in surprise "OH MY GOD I FORGOT IM SORRY-" he cut you off with a hug "it's ok" he smiled at you "sure?" He nodded "alright then can you get out so i can change?" His eyes went wide "mhm sorry i'll be outside with Dolores" he said going downstairs with the 12 year old girl was
After you got changed you practically flew down the stairs shouting a quick "Bye im going to the madrigal's" to your parents before closing the door behind you.
As you turned around your eyes met with camilo's hazel once, you smiled and looked up at Dolores "hola, Dolores" she smiled at you "hola, y/n how are you" "im good," camilo patted your shoulder and looked up at his sister "can we go nowwww?" He asked impatiently "sure thing kid"
When you made it to casita, everyone greeted you like you were a part of the family, wich made you really happy "hey camilo, what are you wearing?" You asked looking your best friend up and down "uhh my every day clothes?" You nodded "exactly, shouldn't you be wearing formal clothes?"
"Yes but when it's time for the ceremony" you looked at him suspiciously "and do you have formal clothes?" He laughed nervously "mhm but i don't like them?" "Ooo can i see?" You asked "sure i guess" the two of you walkes inside the nursery he shared with mirabel, he opened his closet and pulled out an adorable tux

"Awww its adorable" he made a discusted face "noooo" "yes" you went back and forth like this untik señora pepa walked in "what is going on in here?" She asked amused "well camilo here dosen't like his clothes" you said "well he will have to wear them" camilo made a sad noise "but i fon't want to"
She kneeled down infront of her son "i know but, it's only for a few hours" he looked from the clothes to you then to his mum "ughh finee" he gave in making you smile

Camilo walked out of his room wearing his tux "awww you look adorable" you said hugging the boy "thanks n/n!" Just then señor felix shouted "camilo, cmon it's almost time" "coming pa!" He shouted back "good luck cami" you smiled at him and went to stand infront of the crowd
You were watching your best friend walk up the stairs nervously, once he reached his abuela he promised to use his gift to help others and touched the handle with the letter C on it
The door shone brighter and on it appeared camilo with some random people behind him, then were he once was stood...you? "We have anew gift!" Abuela Alma shouted making everyone clap and rush inside the room
It had alot of mirrors and a giant stage in the middle of it, on the very back left corner was a staircase that led to a second floor wich was only half the size of the bottom floor and had railing were it stopped, on that second floor was akind sized bed, a bunch of beanbags of various colors alongside a couch, a table and a shelf filled with board games
Camilo ran up to you smiling "i did it!" He laughed hugging you tightly "yes you did!" You replied hugging him back "cmon lets go dance" he said grabbing your hand and pulling you to dance
Another time skip
You were having fun with your best friend when your parents walked in looking worried "y/n dear!" Your dad said as they came to a stop infeont of you "we have yo go" you looked up at him comfused "were to pa?" You asked "anyware but encanto" your eyes widen "what? Why?" You said tears formong in your eyes "i cant tell you dear"
Abuela alam who had heard the conversation walked over "did something happen mr.y/l/n?" She asked worried "no no, we just have to leave encanto for a while"
You turned around and hugged camilo who was now crying "don't cry i will come back some day" "promise?" You held him tighter "promise" you said tears now running down your cheeks "we gotta go" your mum said dragging you away "I'LL WAIT" camilo ahouted as you left the house "i hope not for long" you wishpered under your breath
