A day off

"Movie night!" Dream semi yells happily as he rushes in with a bowl of popcorn and puts it on the table

"I still need to get out my work clothes hun" George giggles as he is covered in 2 blankets

"Oh! Right sorry I'm just really exited!" Dream smiles as George smiles. Dream lifts the blankets off George as George kisses Dreams cheek and walks upstairs to change into his white joggers and one of Dreams baby blue hoodies. He checks himself in the mirror as he folds the sleeves up when he hears a meow.

"Patches!" George smiles as Patches rubs her head on his leg

"You exited for movie night too?" George asks as he crouched down to Patches level and picks her up

"I wonder what we will be watching" George wonders as he walks to the front room with Patches

"There she is! I was looking for her" Dream smiles as George places her on her stool infront of where Dream would sit.

"Ready?" George asks as he sits next to Dream as he hums

"Nope!" Dream says as he gets George to sit on his lap as he lays down, their heads facing the TV and their feet near Patches. Dream gets a blanket from the top and puts it over them as George giggles and gets comfortable

"Comfortable?" Dream asks as George smiles and nods

"What do you wanna watch first?" Dream asks as he holds the controller

"Hmmm... chicken run" George says as Dream chuckles as he opens Netflix and plays the movie.

About half way, Patches was fast asleep as Dream was slowly slipping into sleep while George was wide awake. He looks at Dream to see he looks very tired. He puts his left hand on Dreams cheek to which he leans into as George slowly rubs his thumb in circles on Dreams cheek to which he goes into a deep sleep in no time. George smirks at this, hes known that this is how to get Dream to sleep faster if he's tired. Hes used it since the third night they had a sleepover.

"Gotta do a backstory one day" George mumbles as he puts his head on Dreams check again as he switches the TV off from the remote as he slowly goes sleep...

"Hey Dream did you get the day off from work?" George asks as Dream is making eggs. Dream gulps as he nervously chuckled

"Well actually i-" he was cut off by George's phone going off

"Sorry" George says

"Its fine!" Dream smiles as he faces George as George nods and answers

"Hello, George here" George says

"Hello George. Are you near someone?" Philza asks

"Yes sir" George says professionally

"Alright. Well I woke up with a very bad cold and unfortunately I'm not able to go in so I'm giving everyone the day off. Make sure you do some theories and research, ready to tell Mumza about what you have found. Understood?" Philza asks as George smiles brightly

"Yes! Ofcourse! Thank you sir" George smiles

"Have a good day" Philza says as George ends the call

"Dream I have the day off!" George smiles as Dream finishes the eggs and puts them on the plates

"That's great Georgie" Dream smiles as he kisses George's cheek and puts the nearly burnt toast on the plates and puts one plate infront of George and the other on his side as Dream sits down

"But what were you about to say about the day off?" George asks as he cuts into his egg

"Um well..." Dream gulps
