"George are you sure you're ready to go back to work?" Clay asks as George puts his coat on
"Yes I'm sure Hun, make sure you feed our kid" George says
"I'm gonna be honest, that's confused me and the readers since the first chapter, why do you call Patches our kid?" Clay asks
"To make her feel more included. But make sure you feed her before your work. ok?" George asks as Clay goes wide-eyed
"yeah yeah will do" Clay smiles as George kisses his cheek and walks out the door and phones Nikki.
"This is Nikki, what's your order?" Nikki asks
"Where are you? I'm waiting for you to pick me up" George says
"Dentist. Apparently I need some fillings done and I've been waiting for about 20 minutes. so i may be late" Nikki says
"So who's gonna drop me off at work?" George asks
"You're husband?" Nikki asks
"Boyfriend Nikki. Boyfriend But he doesn't even know i do this for a job." George says
"Sounds like a you problem. but i gots to go byeee!" Nikki says as she ends the call and George sighs
"ok... Lets do this George" George mumbles to himself and unlocks the door to walk back in
"Hey Clay ?" George asks as he look in the kitchen but doesn't see him. weird...
"Clay ?" George asks again as he hears a wheeze from their room.

He gulps and takes his shoes off quietly and walks up the stairs as quiet as a mouse as he hears more laughing.
He gets to their bedroom door and opens it slowly to see Clay on the computer with headphones over his ears while he looks at the other screen on his left.

"Ok ok ok, so my most weirdest thing I've ate was an avocado with ice cream and baked beans." Clay shivers in disgust, as George hears someone mumble through the headphones he wore.
"Hunny?" George asks as Clay jumps and looks where George is standing and goes wide eyes and takes off him headphones and clicks something on the computer.
"George??" Clay asks as George nods
"I have 2 questions right now. one can you drop me off work? my friend who normally drops me off has dentist" George says as Clay slowly nods
"Sure let me end this really quick" Clay says as he says goodbye to the stream and to whoever he was speaking to on discord, then closing the computer down
"And your second question?" Clay asks
"Aren't supposed to be ready for work?" George asks as they both walk downstairs and Clay gets gets car keys from the side
"Um well... day off? yeah day off!" Clay nervously says as George locks front door and they walk to Clays car
"another day off? are you using all your days off?" George laughs and Clay nervously laughs as they put on their seatbelts and drive to Georges work

"Hey Bob" George waves
"Why are you not with Nikki today?" Bob asks
"she has dentist. But can you let us in?" George asks
"How do i know he isn't a spy?" Bob asks as Clay becomes confuced
"A spy?" Clay asks
"You could be working for Tec-"Bob was cut off
"BOB JUST LET US IN" George snaps as Bob gulps and opens the gate as Clay parks the car to the left
"Bye hun" George smiles as he tries to open the door but for it to be locked by Clay
"Whats going on George?" Clay asks
"W...What do you-" George was cut off by Clay
"Being injured at work, Bob saying i'm a quote spy? whats happening?" Clay asks seriously as George sighs and sits forward in the seat
"I work for her majesty's secrete service Clay... and ive been doing this for 5+ years..." George says as the car becomes silent
"sooooo your like James Bond?" Clay asks as George nods
"woa" Clay says as George looks at him shocked and confuced
"'woa'? thats it?" George asks
"i mean yeah... woa... i- wow... thats pretty cool" Clay says
"And pretty dangerous" George says
"Thats true... But as long as you like doing this job though... but i want you to be safe and not have a bruise on you. Ok?" Clay asks as George smiles
"I never come home with a bruise and never will" George smiles
