chapter two
POV: Elaine

"Alright Elaine, here it is." dad said as he slowed down on the venue. "Enjoy, alright?"

"Thanks dad." I answered unbuckling my seatbelt.

"Call me whenever there's an emergency. Don't forget my reminders, okay. Number one: do not panic, number two: always—"

"Dad, I'll be fine." I smiled at him reassuringly.

"I'm just worried."

"I'll be fine, it's just for one night, I promise I'll be safe." I confronted. I kissed him on his cheek and waved goodbye. "Bye, dad."

"Bye, sweetheart." The car then sped off, leaving nothing but smoke.

The venue was a stadium, I'm pretty sure Niall and Louis were buzzing off of this one the day before their show here. All I could hear right now are fans inside ghastly screaming and chanting the boys' names. Home, I thought as it made me let out a small smile.

My thoughts were interrupted by the officer who casually tapped me on my shoulder. "Is there anything I could do to help, miss?"

"Oh, yeah, right, I-I uhm," I stuttered.

"VIP?" she asked leaning forward to see my ticket.

I nodded.

"Right this way." she motioned me to enter the gate with two guys raising banners that said VIP.

"Thank you." I spoke politely.

"VIP?" the guy in a white shirt asked.

I nodded.

"Okay." he let me in.

There was another gate as I walk towards the entrance of the venue. The lady in a One Direction Official Team shirt approached me and asked for my ticket. I gave it right away and she ripped off the small part of the ticket and gave it back. Another lady who was wearing nerd glasses came to me and placed a stamp mark on my arm.

It was overwhelming. When I got inside, those huge screens and stages that I often see on Twitter were larger than how I thought it was. I admired the venue and the screeching fans that obviously couldn't wait for the boys to show up.

The usherette went up to me and lit his flashlight on my ticket. "Section A5?" he read.

"Yes." I responded.

"Section A5!" he yelled to a lady wearing the same red shirt, another usherette I supposed.

I walked to the lady and she lead me to my seat.

"Thank you." I said mannerly.

I was a little quiet at first until the girl beside me started chatting with me.

"Hey!" she said.

I jolted, "I'm sorry, what-"

"You are Elaine, aren't you?" her face lit up as her hands intertwine at each other.

"I, uhm, how did you know?" I asked a little surprised.

"Uhm, duh? You're twitter famous! Oh my god, I should take a selfie with you!" she yelped searching for her phone in her bag.

"I-I-I'm not." I giggled nervously.

"Smile!" she said raising her phone up.

I can't do anything but to smile. I must admit that I was quite agitated that I was actually famous. Yes, I got thousands of followers on Twitter, but I wasn't expecting that I am really known in person.
