The Elevator [A Zodiac Story]

Chapter 5- Floor 3

[A/N TW!! Creepy Clown Picture. It's a drawing so it's definitely not as scary, but I know there's some people who really hate clowns.] 

~CAPRICORN POV~

After the elevator moved up to the next floor, the rusty doors slid open and all of us walked out in amazement. Unlike the other rooms before, a gigantic circus tent was in front of us. The washed out color of the red and white repeating lines made it look slightly creepy and the dark night sky around us looked like it would swallow us up at anytime. There were many rips in the tent but inside you could see welcoming bright lights. There was a forest in the distance, but it was probably some kind of illusion to trick us. 

"Wow.... let's go inside!" yelled Pisces who started to run towards the tent. Sagittarius pulled Pisces arm back. "Not so fast. What if there's something creepy in there? We're stuck in a horror elevator. What do you expect? Unicorns?"
Scorpio nodded in agreement, "This place looks really creepy."

Pisces frowned, "You guys are boring." Everyone was silent just staring at each other until Gemini spoke up. 
"Well what are we supposed to do? Just stand here for the rest of eternity?" 

"C'mon guys. We need to go in if we want to escape." I added. All of us agreed and we made our way to the entrance of the circus tent. 

Libra let out a big sigh, "Let's hope someone doesn't shoot my other hand." Aries laughed and grabbed ahold of his non-shot hand. "You guys ready?"

We all nodded our heads and walked up to the circus. 

Unlike the creepy outside, the inside was beautiful. There were hanging lights along the rim of the tent, many well-kept leather seats, and a big red curtain that was blocking the round stage on the other side. 

"Why is there no one here?" Aquarius asked. Right as his sentence ended, a loud cackle was heard from behind the curtain. There was a silhouette of a person with clown hair and large shoes. He seemed to be holding a balloon and some sharp thing in his other hand. 

"Uh guys.. we should probably go," Leo said. You could hear the worry in her voice. 

"Oh don't leave yet. I'm just getting started." The curtains opened and in the center of the stage was the creepiest clown I have ever seen. 

"WHAT IN THE ACTUAL FUCK!" Aries screamed. Leo was hyperventilating while Gemini rubbed her back. Taurus started to run out of the tent but it shut right as he was about to get out. "Shit!" 

 "Why so scared?" the creepy clown asked. It's screechy voice was as bad as nails on a chalkboard. "Well, I don't want to be rude so let me introduce myself... My name is Ophiuchus and I am delighted that you all are here." 

~CANCER POV~

Ok but like.. what the hell is that name? This clown just scared the fuck out of all of us and now all of a sudden he's acting nice? There's something wrong with that..

"Would you all like to take a seat?" he asked.  
"No," Aquarius muttered but we all ended up sitting down. 

The clown looked around at all of us and his messy orange hair stood up a bit when his eyes landed on me. 
"I've seen you before." he squealed. 
"Oh! ...Really?" I tried to act relaxed but everything about him was scaring the hell out of me. 

"Yes.. we met very recently actually." He tapped his foot against the stage and a large smile appeared on his face. That's when it hit me. He was the monster who kidnapped me and Taurus. He's the fucking clown who trapped us in the doorless room. I should've known from his glowing red eyes. 

I looked at Taurus who was sitting next to me. His face was pale and I could tell he figured out the same thing as me.
"Run. We have to run right fucking now." I whispered aggressively into Taurus' ear. 
"We can't. The entrance disappeared."

I looked over to where we had entered and it was replaced by the tent walls. 
"So.. Mr. Octopus. How are you doing..?" Pisces faked a smile. [A/N we love mr. octopus<3 lmao]

"Oh my dear Pisces, I remember you too."
Pisces stared at him in silence, "Uh.. Can we leave?"
"Why? You don't want to talk with me?" he asked while his head turned sideways. 

I could tell Pisces was about to start having a panic attack because she was breathing very aggressively and was trembling. 
"I-I would love to talk to you." 

Ophiuchus clapped his hands once and the lights turned off. "Nevermind with that. My act is over."  

Act!? I stood up trying to find my way to another exit. There had to be more than one.. right? I could barely see anything and all I could hear were Ophiuchus' loud cackles. "Guys. What do we do?!" Leo yelled. 

"I found an exit!" Aries yelled back. "Behind the stage!" We all made our way to the back of the stage, but as I was about to take another step further, sharp nails dug into my shoulder. 
"Found you!" Ophiuchus shrieked. I couldn't see much so I tried my best to punch him in the face but all I kept feeling was air. 

Many of the zodiacs were able to reach the exit and I was afraid that I wouldn't make it. I kept on trying to hurt Ophiuchus but the fact that it was night outside wasn't helping. "GET THE FUCK OFF ME YOU STUPID ASSHOLE."

His hand let go of my shoulder and I was free. I looked to the left of me and Taurus was on the ground tackling the clown. He stood up and grabbed my hand.
"We need to run. Quick." 

Together we ran out of the tent and back to the elevator. Ophiuchus was racing after us but we managed to make it to the elevator in time. Capricorn pressed the 4th floor button multiple times and the doors shut right as the clown was about to make it in. Everyone was panting heavily and I felt exhausted. This elevator was a fucking nightmare. If we barely escaped that, how would we be able to escape the others?
