After I heard a shrill voice scream those words my blood boiled, both I and my wolf were pissed. Not only did someone go against my mate being the Luna but, it was someone almost the entire pack hated. Her name is Crystal and I had two issues with her, One she's a snobby and disrespectful person. she doesn't respect anyone in the pack and when I'm near she acts as if she does. Two, back when I was younger I made the grave mistake of sleeping with her and now she's made herself believe she's going to become the next Luna.

The room was filled with gasps of shock, surprise, and anger.
"How dare you disrespect the Alpha and his mate!" "Shut up, no one cares what you think meanie!" "You can't say nothin cuz you ain't luna material" Multiple people started yelling and shouting at her for what she said. While yes, I was proud of how fast the pack jumped to protect Kinuka, I needed to stop this before a fight broke out.
"Settle down everyone!" I boomed "Crystal on what grounds do you believe my mate wouldn't be a good luna" I tried my best to stay calm "For multiple reasons! She's a fairy so she wouldn't know our ways, she's far too weak to be a luna, and she isn't even your mate!" she growled "Firstly YOU aren't my mate. Yes she's a fairy but she was raised by our own kind so she knows our way and her species shouldn't be the reason why you believe she's weak!" I yelled
Her face started to turn red as she though over her next words. I looked over to Kinuka, only to see she had an eerily calm look on her face. Knowing her character I had expected her to get scared or nervous. I'm happy she didn't do either but the way she's looking is a bit worrisome.
"I challenge you to a fight for the title of Luna over the Sacred Moon Howlers Pack!" she screamed "And I accept!" Kinuka spoke calmly "You may think I'm weak because I'm a fairy, but I promise you i'm anything but" Now hat was hot as hell "I have been through thing that would make you cry till you threw up ,you don't scare me snowflake!"
I kne when she called her snowflake that she was refering to her hair. I had never seen this side of kinuka and it was both frightening and sexy as hell. The Entire hall went quiet as they waited for me to respond, as Alpha it's my job to approve or disapprove pack fights such as ones for rank changes, like now.
"I as Alpha Vincent of the Sacred Moon Howlers Pack, Approve of the fight for title as Luna between Kinuka and Crystal. The fight shall happen in 3 days, both participants may do whatever they must to get ready in those 3 days" I spoke
After I spoke there were around 12 pups that came up to the stage "Ms.Kinuka?" spoke a little boy "Yes?" She crouched down to their level "Can you please win? non of us like Crystal, she's a meanie" murmured a little girl "I promise you, I'll win and become the best Luna I can be" "Thank you!"
After that the pack left and went to do their regular routine "Kinuka what were you thinking?!" Asked Enzo looking bewildered (he's the Beta in case you forgot) "Kinuka she's one of our top 10 female warriors!" spoke Leonard
It made me happy to see that my two best friends were already protective of my mate "Boys relax!" spoke Ashley "What do you mean relax?! She's gonna-" Leo was cut off by Ashley "Babe trust me, Kinuka knows what she's doing" she smirked "Ain't that right Kiki" "Yep!" she smiled "I've seen Kinuka fight, It's a sight to behold" squeeled Ashley "Wait ,you fight?" questioned Enzo "Nope, but my golem does"
