It's been a full week since Kinuka and I talked about her past and a couple of things have changed.
Kinuka has started wearing shorts more often and that had a....reaction. Her legs had scars, all very different but the same. Knife stabbings & slashes, cigarette burns, wip markings, and even bite marks.
Many pack members were heart broken at the sight of it. The warriors praised her and said that they were proud to know that their Luna was far stronger than she let on, they even made her cry from how happy she was. The pups made her sit down and they made cute drawings over her scars to make her feel better. Even the older pack members told her that they were proud to be in the presence of such a strong woman at such a young age.
I've also learned something else about Kinuka, she's very good at hiding her issues, simply because she doesn't want others to worry about her. Once I found that out I mindlinked the entire pack that if they saw her acting a bit off, to tell me immediately.
As I'm working on a document for new buildings I hear a knock on my door.
"Come in" I answered
As the door opens I see my little mate walking into my office wearing a white knit outfit that Ashley had bought her last week

"Hi Viny" She looked on with half lidded eyes "Hello my little compagna" I dropped my pen pulling her into a hug "Is it okay if I sleep in here?" She mumbled "You don't have to ask Kinu, but yes you can sleep in here" I chuckled softly
She was about to move towards my couch but before she could I pulled her into my lap. "You sleep her, silly" I smiled "Okay, night Viny" She whispered "Have a nice nap coniglia" I hummed
Once I was sure she was asleep I maneuvered her to where her head was placed in my neck and I could still work on my papers.
3 minutes later a scared Enzo bursts in "We lost the luna!" He cried "Quiet Enzo" I spoke sternly covering Kinuka's head "she's right here and SLEEPING" I stressed " Oh, sorry" he looked down "Its fine, any word from Leo and Ash?"
I had sent Leo on a trip to check on a smaller neighboring pack who was having issues with a group of rogues
"Theu said that they had figured out the issues. The rogues were only in the area because one of their females needed a C-section" He sat in the chair in front of my desk "Good, and the pack?" I questioned "They made a truce with the rogues" he reassured " That's good to hear" I spoke
It was quiet for a couple of minutes before Enzo spoke in a sad tone
"Kinuka-" he broke off "Kinuka is something else" he spoke "What do you mean by that?" I urged "When I first met her I thought she'd be a shy girl who was afraid of her own shadow, but now I know that she's a warrior at heart. She might not be aggressive, but she can throw a punch and handle one much harder. I'm happy you guys found each other. You found someone to care for and love, and she found someone to help her through her pain." He smiled softly while looking at her
"Thank you for that, no matter the situation you've always looked out for me. Even now, I'm happy to call you my beta and one of my best friends Enzo."
"Anything for you ya big baby" he laughed ‐---------------------- For this chapter I just really wanted everyone to see that Enzo is the jointer of the trio but in the end he's such a sweetheart 😭
