The curious incident of Ella Rose(ON HOLD)

Introduction

Her shrilling laugh echoes in my head. Her big blue eyes always twinkling, her blonde curls forever shining. Her mouth always curved into a perfect smile. She was the perfect little sister. Everyone loved her, she cared about everyone and everything. She was very talented, a star amongst us all, her teachers said. She was a big drama queen though and always exagarrated everything, No wonder she was so good at acting. She wanted to be an actress when she was older, she wanted to be rich and famous. She could've been a model too, She was the beauty of us all and resembled an angel.

I remember this day so clearly, as if it were yesterday. September 5th was the day we went back to school, the day my families life was ruined.

The day started off like any other normal morning. 

I went downstairs to my breakfast awaiting for me on the table. I sipped at my orange juice and nibbled at my buttery toast. My father was watching the news on the tv and my mother was sitting at the breakfast bar, her glasses perched on the end of her nose, she was doing a wordsearch whilst sipping at her mug of coffee. I looked around wondering where Ella was. And as if on que i heard her high pitched voice yelling at me. 

"JASMINE HURRY UP OR WE'RE GOING TO BE LATE FOR SCHOOL" She yelled

I looked up at the clock hanging on the wall. It read 8:15. I rolled my eyes, we didnt need to leave for 20 odd minutes, school doesnt start till 9am and its only a 10 minute walk! She liked to be early for everything and got really upset and annoyed if we were ever late for anything. For a 10 year old she was really organised and neat. 

I got up from the table, my chair scraping the floor as i pushed it back. I huffed and grabbed my school bag and slipped my black school shoes on. Ella opened the front door revealling the sun to be shining and only a slight breeze. We stepped out our front door and began walking up our pathway. We began our last journey to school together.
