I decided to ignore EJ earlier today, I can't believe he forgot! I'm laying in my dorm talking to my roommate.

"Oof, that's tough. How long have you guys been together?"

"Two years, not super big but still."

"Did you give him any hints when you asked him?"

"Yeah, was basically smiling the entire time this morning, I guess he thought I was just happy to see him. I kept going deeper into the question as he got it wrong."

"But you didn't tell him."

"I shouldn't have to tell him! He should know!"

"Well, it probably slipped his mind, with going back to classes and all that."

"Well, I feel like he should have remembered it, he texted me earlier saying he was at our special spot, he even sent me a picture of our names on the tree!"

"Yikes, yeah he should have remembered if he remembered that."

"That's exactly what I'm saying!"

"Maybe you should try texting him. Ask him if he figured out why today is so special."

"I'll try that."

"Calm down dude, it'll be ok."

"You sure? I don't think it will be." I pick up my pillow and squeeze it.

"Promise, he's like Cher from clueless."

"AAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH." I scream into my pillow.

"Do you want my advice?"

"No, he didn't get the clues. HE DIDN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT THE FUCKING BANANA MEANT!!!!" I throw my phone on the floor and hide under my covers.

"I'll leave you alone for a bit."

"Thanks for trying to help Danny." I say muffled through my quilt.
