POV: Y/N
Once you said that, the rest of your soulmates came over and jumped all over you, Jin, and Yoongi. They were so excited and so were you... mostly. You were terrified to trust you were actually worthy of this. You had given up on relationships a decade before and now you've been given seven beautiful soulmates? How did you deserve this? How did this happen to someone ordinary like you?
Sejin stood up with a smile. "Fantastic! Y/N, you won't regret this. Boys, we need to get you packed up and I need to get Y/N added to our travel itinerary. We also need to let Bang PD know what's happened. Are we going to issue a media statement immediately?"
You squeaked in fright. This was a sticking point to a lot of your concerns... How ARMY would react. "D-d-do we have to?"
Jin's arms hugged you tight in reassurance. You allowed yourself to be comforted by him, but you were still concerned. Why weren't they? "We're going to have to tell them eventually, my heart."
"B-b-but..." You weren't ready. This was too fast. You'd only this morning accepted that BTS... Bangtan friggin' Sonyeondan... were your soulmates. Now they also wanted you to announce that to the world? You knew how negative the public could be. Were you ready??? You could feel yourself starting to hyperventilate and you wondered if you were about to have a panic attack.
Yoongi pinched the back of your calf. With a gasp, your eyes flew to his. "Breathe, Y/N. Just breathe." He waited until you complied with his instructions. "Yes, we have to come out eventually, but we can give you some time. Soul bonds are protected under international code and we'll do our best to wait until you're ready." You took a deep breath and nodded. "However, you have to remember. We're public figures who are constantly observed by others. We're lucky to be in the US currently where there aren't as many fans shadowing our every step like in Korea. We're not going to be able to hide it forever... and we don't want to! We want to be able to take you out because we're in a normal relationship. You are not something to be ashamed of!"
You could feel your heart racing but you couldn't deny the sincerity in Yoongi's gaze. You nodded. It's true that you didn't want them to think you were ashamed of them either. You just needed to wrap your head around everything, which was extremely difficult. "OK. Sorry for freaking out..."
They took some time to reassure you which you were grateful for. Were these boys the support you'd always been longing for? Have you finally found it? "What do I need to get ready?" you asked. At their blank looks, you sighed. "How long will we be gone? When can I get back here to pack up? Do I have to start immediately or do we have some time to just relax for a moment?" You looked around the apartment and experienced a bit of melancholy. You'd purchased this condo a long time ago and both good and bad things had happened here. You didn't know how you felt about never coming back to it.
"Enough for a couple of weeks at least?" Taehyung suggested. Sejin nodded in agreement. "That will be about the time we're done in the United States and maybe we could come back to help you pack up the rest of your stuff. Plus anything you need to keep yourself entertained." He gave you a saucy wink and your face flamed. Why oh why did your thoughts immediately go down the gutter. You could tell that Taehyung already knew and it was completely mortifying! You really didn't want to have naughty thoughts with them all around you, let alone with Quazar, Sejin, and Jeny in the room.
Namjoon interrupted your thoughts. "Quazar, is there anything we need to know or preparations we should make for Y/N's health?" You almost melted at the care and concern in Namjoon's voice. "Has she been taking any medication?"
"I will give you a supply of soul healing tea for all of you. This will help ease any damage you may have sustained due to the delay of cementing your last bond." She smiled at them all benevolently. "I guess I'll have to return to my regular life and residence. Y/N, it's been a pleasure to stay with you and Jeny. I came to think of you both as practically my daughters at this point."
