"Kids, breakfast is ready!" I call down the hallway to my three oldest children since I have the youngest child in the kitchen with me, and he is already in his high chair.
My babies are: Anakin Lee, he is 10-years-old, Luke Jaycob and Leia Lynn, they are 5-year-old twins, and Han Edward, and he is 2-years-old. Yes, I named my babies after 'Star Wars' characters. I am a huge fan of the books and movies.
My name is Skywalker Lee Jameson, and I was named after Luke Skywalker's character as my parents are fans, too. I am 5'8" with short black hair that's pushed back into a quit, light olive complexion, pale blue eyes, and I'm 28-years-old.
I had Anakin when I was 18-years-old, Luke and Leia when I was 23-years-old, and Han when I was 26-years-old. The kids call me papa and their other father, Jace, dad.
I divorced Jaycob a year and a half ago after I caught him having sex with another man in our shared bed. I came home early from work one day to surprise him on his day off.
"Papa!" Han calls from his seat at the table as he slaps his hands lightly against the top of the yellow colored plastic tray.
"You want more food, my baby?" I coo with a fond smile as I kiss him on top of his blond hair.
"Yeah, foo'!" he cheers as I reach over to the counter to grab the other half of banana and blueberry pancakes.
Cutting these into small bite size pieces before placing these onto his plastic plate with 'Superman' plate as the other kids bounce into the room, dressed in their school uniforms.
"Morning my babies," I greet them as I kiss each one on top of their blond heads; their dad has blond hair, too.
"Mornin' papa," they greet back as they take their filled plates and silverware to the table as I grab the jug of milk from the fridge to pour everyone a class.
Sitting down with them, and we enjoy our breakfast before we leave for school and work. Anakin is in the fifth grade, Like and Leia are in kindergarten, and Han attends daycare at the school. I work as a P.A. for a lawyer two blocks from the kids' school.
Jaycob pays the fees for the kids' school, and I pay for Han's daycare which is ordered by the court. This arrangement ends when Han starts school in three years, and then Jaycob and I will split the fees. Also the court order states that Jaycob pays child support, and he has the kids the last week of the month from Friday after school until the next Friday morning.
Jaycob is a surgeon at Westshore Hospital. Now, before anyone has a conniption about the visitation arrangement, he requested this arrangement due to his work. He does sometimes visits the kids at my home before his week if he calls or texts, and we are available.
"Papa, when do we see dad again?" Anakin asks after breakfast, and we are getting ready to leave the house.
"Um, you guys will see him this weekend. He is picking you guys up from school that day," I answer as I fix Han on my right hip as we grab our belongings to leave, and slipped on our shoes.
"I don't want to go," Luke whines as we leave the house, and I lock the door behind us.
"Why not, Luke?" I question as we head toward red, 2019 Dodge Caravan; yes I drive a minivan.
"I miss you when we there," he pouts while climbing into his car seat as I buckle Han in his in the muddle of Luke and Leia while Anakin sits in the front passenger seat.
"I miss you, too, and your brothers and sister," I assure him with a smile. "But daddy misses all of you, too."
Luke crosses his arms over his chest as his pout deepens, but he doesn't comment further as I check to make sure he and Leia are buckled correctly.
Walking around to my side of the van once I shut the side door, I buckle myself in and drive toward the school. Parking the van ten minutes later at the school, we climb out, and walk toward the school with Anakin holding Leia's hand as I carry Han and hold Luke's hand.
The kids carry their backpacks as we enter the school, and I hug Anakin quickly before he heads off toward his class. Leia holds Luke's hand as we make our way to their classroom.
"Bye Luke, bye Leia," I tell them once we are near their room off to the side. "I love you both, and I will be here to pick you up at the end of the day."
"Bye papa, love you," they both reply with cheery smiles before I kiss them both on the cheeks l, and they enter the classroom together.
Standing up, I hitch Han onto my right hip again with a smile at him; "Let's get you to your classroom, okay?"
"F'iends!" he softly cheers since he knows that he can't be loud inside the school.
Brightly smiling at my baby, I agree with him; "Yup, you are gonna see your friends!"
Stepping into the daycare room that is located at the end of the kindergarten hallway, I smile at Miss Petrie; "Good morning, Miss Petrie."
"Good morning, Skywalker and Han," she warmly greets back as she holds her hands out to take Han from me once I have said my goodbye to him.
"How are you, Han?" she asks as she lightly bounces him in her arms.
"Goo!" he chirps while hugging her around the neck with a toothy grin. "F'iends?"
"Of course you can," she agrees with a slight nod of her head as she places him on his feet. "Go play with your friends."
"Bye. I will be back at 3:15 p.m. to pick him up," I softly tell her as I hand her his backpack, and wave at Han before leaving for work.
