Jace's P.O.V.

Watching Skywalker walk away from us, I can't help but watch his bubble butt lightly jiggle in his form fitting khaki pants, and I am instantly turned on. His ass helps turn me on, but mostly it is his sassy attitude.

Harold chuckles from behind me at Skywalker's sass toward me. Turning to face him, I ask; "Is he always that fiery?"

Harold's nods in response as we move into his office to sit on either side of his desk to eat the food I brought us.

"He has gotten bolder, and more confident in the last year since he divorced his cheating husband,@ Harold answers as he takes the Chinese food container from me, a set of chopsticks, and his soda.

Humming in response, I ask; "Are his kids really named after 'Star Wars' characters?"

"Yeah, he has three boys and one girl," he explains. "Anakin is 10-years-old, Luke and Leia are 5-years-old, and Han is 2-years-old. His kids are adorable and well behaved, and he has a family picture of them on his desk."

We get down to business after that, and I find it hard not to wonder about Skywalker even more. I am sure it must be hard for him to be a single dad after divorcing his cheating ex. I don't understand how or why people cheat.

"If you are interested in getting to know Sky better, the first thing I suggest doing is not laughing or making jokes about his name or his kids," Harold suggests before continuing. "Second thing is you should sit next to him at the conference next week, and talk with him."

"I can do those," I agree with a tiny smile. "Why are you helping me do this?"

"Sky needs someone in his life who loves him, and his kids for who they are, and not cheat on him," Harold comments seriously as he stares at me.

"I can promise that, and I will take this at his pace," I tell him honestly as I don't want him to think I am going to try and screw Skywalker over in some way.

"Okay," Harold slowly agrees with a slight nod of his head. "Now, are you enjoying being back home?"

Instantly smiling at him, I honestly answer; "I am loving being back home! Mum and mama are beyond excited that I have finally moved back home, and so are my siblings."

"I bet they are! I think all of us should get together for dinner one night soon," he answers fondly, Harold and I grew up together, so he knows my family well, too.

"I will talk with them tonight when I stop there for dinner," I tell him as we finish our meal.

"Good," he answers as his gaze shifts behind me, so I turn to find Skywalker walking to his cubical with a cup in his right hand.

Skywalker smiles down at his cell before typing away quickly as he sits down at his desk chair, and place his cup on the desk off to the side.

"I will get a hold of you tonight with an answer, okay?" I ask while standing to gather my stuff so I can talk with Skywalker briefly.

"Not a problem, Jace," he replies with a smirk as he knows what I am doing to do. "Be gentle with him, please?"

"I will be," I promise him as I leave his office to lean my left hip against the side of Skywalker's desk.

He looks up at me with big blue eyes as he quirks his left eyebrow at me; "Can I help you, sir?"

"Yes, you can help me," I smoothly reply with a smirk. "I need you to give me your phone number so we can text."

"Why would we do this?" he questions in a soft voice that is guarded.

"So we can get to know each other a little before I ask you on a date," I answer with a serious expression.

"I'm sorry, but I don't give my number out to people I have just met," he answers in his sweetly soft voice.

"How many times do we need to be around each other before I can have your number?" I ask curiously as I glance over his desk, and notice the family picture Harold mentioned earlier.

"Um, probably three or four times," he answers, noticing my gaze on the picture.

"Okay, so today counts as one, and then next weeks two day conference will be two and three," I answer with a smile.

Skywalker doesn't comment on this as he picks up the family picture to show me as he points to each child; "This is Anakin, he is ten. These are my twins, Luke and Leia, they are five, and Han is two."

"Your children are adorable, just like you are," I sincerely tell him, and Skywalker rewards me with an instant blush that is a dark crimson color.

"Thank you, sir," he murmurs as he places the frame back in its spot. "They are my life."

"You are welcome, Skywalker," I reply before deciding to praise him. "You seem to be a good parent by the way your face lights up when you speak of them."

That is definitely an enduring quality for him to have in my opinion.

Skywalker's blush deepens as he mumbles out a 'thank you' before saying; "I need to start working, so I can pick my babies up on time when their school day ends."

Nodding, I wish him goodbye until next week, and I leave with a smile and a wink. Pressing the down arrow button for the elevator, I step inside when the door slides open. Glancing over at Skywalker, I give him my best smirk m, and another wink as the door shuts.

I will get to know that beautiful man at his own pace, but that doesn't mean I am not going to flirt my ass off every time I am around him. Hopefully one day soon he will allow me to date him, and maybe one day allow me to love he like he deserves, and his children. I will accept if he doesn't want that though as much as it might hurt my heart and soul.
