Alert: long chapter ahead

"Thank you for meeting with us. I know the duties of protecting Piltover can be tiresome and time consuming."

Currently, Soobin, Taehyun, and Hueningkai were meeting with the leaders of Piltover or better known as the councilors.

Councilor Mel spoke up once again. "From our reports there have been five major attacks on important land marks of the city. My fellow councilors and I were also informed that each attack has been orchestrated by the Undercity. We'd like to know the progress on your efforts to catching those responsible. We would also like to know what was stolen from the cathedral during the recent attack."

Soobin gulped before he stood from his seat. "Councilors, on behalf of the Piltover police we are proud to report that one of the suspects in the latest attack has been captured and taken into custody. We are waiting to question him. As for what was taken, we still don't have an specifics. The damage to the cathedral is so severe it will take a few months to find out anything on stolen items."

The councilors sank deeper into their chairs as they nodded along.

Suddenly, the newest member of the council, Jayce cleared his voice and said "these attacks cannot go on for much longer. The Undercity has been out of control for years now. I say we..." he paused. He regained his composure before lifting his head high. "I say we green light project Z."

Gasps and murmurs spread among the councilors. Kai looked over at Taehyun with a worried expression.

"Are you insane!?"

"Project Z has always been a last resort plan! Many could die if not used carefully!"

"Is this are only option?"

Head of the council, Heimerdinger narrowed his eyes at Jayce. "Young man! Have you lost your mind!? We couldn't possibly use such a deadly plan. We must show the people of the Undercity we are merciful and peaceful."

"If project Z is such a horrible plan then why does the council have such a plan?" Jayce fired back at the elder.

"THAT'S ENOUGH!" Heimerdinger shouted at Jayce. "You have been apart of this council a week and already bringing more destruction than change!"

Jayce scoffed. "Well I'm sorry councilor that I'm actually taking steps towards controlling the Undercity again."

The councilors gasped for the second time as they watched the feud unfolding in front of them.

Heimerdinger seemed taken aback by Jayce's words. "Fine if you feel that your proposal will benefit our society in a positive way, then let's see if your fellow councilors agree."

Jayce nodded before looking at 6 other councilors. "If you want to stand for what's right and take back the Undercity then raise your hands with me."

The room dimmed and Jayce raised his hand. A light casted over him as he did so. Mel was quick to raise her hand and a light casted over her. The councilors looked around before two more raised their hands to green light project Z.
