The two of them did end up staying the night, and it wasn't that much of a hassle considering they both lived on opposite sides of my house. One of them always stayed with me if the other left, and when Ashton and I were left alone, a make out session pretty much ensued for a good fifteen minutes. He was on the other side of the room when Ruby came back, but her expression and look she gave me told me she knew exactly what was going on.

"Ashton, you get the couch. Me and Delilah are sleeping in her room." Ruby announced as she dropped her bag, placing her hands on her hips and pointing a finger at the door as if she were talking to a dog. "Ruby, he doesn't have to sleep on the couch. We have guest rooms you know." I laughed, although a small part of me wished he was staying in my room.

"Whatever, he sleeps separate from us. And don't even think about trying to sneak in here, or else I'll kick your ass." Ruby told him, giving his butt a small push with her foot as he walked out of my room grumbling to himself. I hid a smile behind my hands as Ruby slammed the door on him, and she turned grinning to me. "Can't give in so easily. Trust me, I was where you were once too, eager to jump in bed with his hot piece of ass. Make him wait for it."

As uncomfortable as I felt thinking about her and Ashton together in that way, I couldn't help but laugh wildly. She grinned and flopped on the bed next to me, placing her hands behind her head. "So, when we all go back to school, you know Blair or Claire or whatever her hussy name is is gonna throw quite the fit." she commented with an amused smile.

I made a duck face, taking on Blair's pouting expression she always wore around Ashton. "She'll have missed her Ashy-bear." Ruby snorted loudly, covering her mouth with her arm as she laughed, hiding her fangs which had protruded from her gums. A banging on the wall from the guestroom was heard and we broke into laugher all over again.
It finally died down and we were in sober silence. "Delilah...what do you think he wants?" Ruby's voice was so quiet when she asked I thought I hadn't even heard her right for a moment. "Who, Cyril?" I questioned, although I already knew. I pondered the thought, and the thought of his kiss on my cheek popped up in my mind and I blushed.

"Woo-aah, what the hell are you thinking about?!" Ruby exclaimed, sitting up suddenly. I looked at her in shock, my cheeks growing even redder as I stammered, "W-what are you talking about?"

"Your scent just got a whole lot stronger Delilah." She stated, her eyes narrowing in suspicion. I couldn't lie my way out of this one, especially when it was my own body giving me away. "I-It's nothing. I just get the feeling that he doesn't want to hurt me... Maybe, something else?" I was hesitant with my words, the last few coming out in a whisper, but he heard them anyway.

Ashton came barging into the room, looking dangerous, and absolutely yummy. "What do you mean something else?" he growled out, his eyes flashing. Shit, now I was in trouble. I fiddled with the hem of my pajama pants, avoiding both of their fierce gazes. "Its nothing, okay? I just didn't get the feeling like he wanted to harm me! Like when he..." I trailed off and bit my lip, quite aware that I was digging my own grave here.

"When he what, Delilah?" Ashton's voice was like ice, cold, hard, and not something I liked to be around. "He--well, all he did was kiss my cheek." I muttered, blushing furiously, feeling as if I was spilling a dirty little secret. With Ashton, his kisses were fiery, hot, something I'd never mind swooning over with a girlfriend like Ruby, forgetting that she's gone out with him too.

But Cyril, that was a whole different story. Even if it was just a peck on the cheek, it was something... intimate. Something I didn't want anyone else to know about. I don't know why I felt this way; maybe because I was ashamed? Yes, so I let the enemy give me a goodbye kiss on the cheek, I'm going to Hell. Okay.
