A few roars of thunder and about a half an hour later, Mirio went to double check on Tamaki. He knocked on the indigo-haired boy's dorm. "Tamaki? Is everything alright?" He called. Faint cries could be heard from Tamaki's room. After pausing for a second, Mirio heard the small sobs. "I'm coming in, Tamaki" The blonde stated before opening the door and looking around. Tamaki was sitting in his 'Pillow Corner', which was a bit more sectioned off due to how he'd set up his dorm. It had fluffy pillows and a lamp, as well as the currently crying Tamaki wrapped in a blanket with a book on the ground next to him.

Mirio immediately ran over to him "Tamaki, Tamaki Tamaki, sunshine, it's alright..." He said soothingly. Tamaki looked up at him slightly with tear-stained cheeks and shook his head. "I-it's s-scary.." He whispered, well, stuttered shakily.

"There's nothing to be scared of Tamaki, it's just the rain.." Mirio stated calmly. He then got up and shut the curtains before returning to sit next to Tamaki. Mirio slowly pulled the blanket off of Tamaki. "What is there to be scared of, Tamaki? Is it how loud it is?" The blonde questioned. Tamaki nodded slightly as he pulled the blanket back over himself. "It's loud... and s-scary.." The indigo haired boy whispered in return. Mirio hugged him gently and rubbed his back. "It's okay.. It's just-" He got cut off by a roar of thunder. Tamaki instinctively curled up into the fetal position and shut his eyes. "Make it stop.." He whispered, to nobody in particular.

Mirio instantly felt a pang of guilt shoot through him as he realized so far he hadn't done anything to help. The blonde hugged Tamaki and slowly tried to pull him out of the fetal position that he'd tucked himself into. "It's alright, Tamaki, I'll stay with you here." Mirio whispered soothingly. "O-okay.." Tamaki whispered back. He slowly untucked himself from the position he was in and sat up straight, leaning back against the wall.

Mirio hummed and wrapped his arm around Tamaki, causing Tamaki to blush faintly and get lost in his thoughts. God. Don't catch feelings Tamaki, he's your best friend. You can't catch feelings, you'll ruin everything like you always do. He could never like a loser like you anyways Tamaki. Stop dreaming. "Tamaki?" Tamaki got pulled out of his thoughts by Mirio's voice. "Mm?" Tamaki hummed in response. "You alright? You suddenly went silent" Mirio said gently.

"O-Oh yeah I'm fine I just got distracted." Tamaki responded quickly.

"Okay then!" Mirio hummed. "Well, maybe we should put on a movie? I can grab my laptop unless you want to use yours?"

"We can use mine, it's okay" Tamaki mumbled as he grabbed his laptop from his desk which was next to his little corner. He then opened it as he wiped his face from the tears which had eventually come to a stop. Tamaki looked at his computer before looking back to Mirio. "Wh-what're we watching?" He asked, tilting his head slightly. "Whatever you want!" Mirio replied happily, once again wrapping his arm around Tamaki. "O-okay.." Tamaki muttered as he pulled up Disney+. He looked through movies before pausing on Pirates Of The Caribbean. "C-can we watch this..?" He asked quietly. Mirio nodded happily. "Of course we can! I used to love these movies when I was really little. I haven't watched any of them in years" Tamaki gave a very small, faint smile, before clicking on the movie and setting his laptop between the two of them.

Soon Tamaki fell asleep leaning against Mirio, but Mirio didn't notice for another half an hour or so when the movie ended. The blonde smiled softly and shut the other's laptop, before carefully picking him up and laying him down on the bed. Mirio then picked up the laptop and plugged it in on Tamaki's desk, so that it would be charged. "Goodnight cutie" Mirio hummed as he walked out the door.
