Everyone was in the common room, Friday after school. This, unusually enough, included none other than the shy little bean, Tamaki Amajiki. Now this shy navy blue haired boy, was sitting in the corner of said common room, reading one of his favorite books, What If It's Us. ((really good book btw)) It was a pretty windy, rainy day in the Shizuoka Prefecture as a bad storm was heading straight for them. The worst was yet to come as so far the thunder and lightning hadn't started. Tamaki, the poor little bean, had Astraphobia. Astraphobia is the extreme fear of thunder and lightning. Suddenly, thunder boomed causing Tamaki to jump and drop his book. "Dammit.." He mumbled to himself as he picked up his book. Mirio, his best friend on the other hand, liked the rain. He thought it was cool. Tamaki scanned the room for the blonde, but to his despair, Mirio had just been sitting on the couch in the middle of the room playing a game on his phone.

In all the years that Miro knew the navy-haired boy, Tamaki had never mentioned his fear of thunder. Typically during thunderstorms Tamaki would always just put some headphones on or try to take a nap instead. Once Tamaki saw Mirio, He looked down to his book again, pulling his hood on and trying to focus on his book rather than the storm. 12 minutes later there was another roar of thunder. Tamaki once again ended up dropping his book and he let out a quiet yelp. Mirio this time took notice and looked at Tamaki "Hey, what's wrong?" The blonde asked, a slight hint of concern in his voice.

Tamaki looked up from his book and just blinked a few times, trying to act like nothing happened. "N-nothing I'm okay Mirio.. T-thanks for asking..." He mumbled as he looked back to his book, trying to find which page he had been on. "Mhm.." Mirio hummed, his voice full of disbelief. He didn't believe the other for a second. "Well okay then, but remember you can always come tell me when something is wrong. No matter what, I'll lend an ear." Mirio said reassuringly. Tamaki gave a small nod and continued to look for his page before going back to reading. Just as Tamaki thought the thunder was down for a little while, or that it was at least calming down, it roared louder than before. He instinctively shut his eyes and covered his ears, trying to focus on anything else. Mirio took notice of this and hopped up off of the couch and walked over to the shy boy. He lowered Tamaki's hands. "Tamaki? Are you scared of the thunder..?" He asked, his voice not judgemental at all. Tamaki hesitated before nodding once again, opening his eyes as well. "Yeah..." He muttered quietly.

Mirio frowned, feeling slightly bad for his friend and sat down beside him. "It's just thunder, there's nothing to be afraid of.." Mirio did his best to reassure him. Tamaki looked down and didn't say anything for a minute. "I know there isn't.. That's why I didn't tell you... But it's really scary and loud.." Tamaki mumbled quietly. Mirio had been about to say something but was cut off by the sound of thunder booming. Tamaki let out another small yelp as he hugged onto Mirio tightly. He shut his eyes as a few tears formed. Mirio hugged him back just as tightly, and began rubbing his back. "It's okay... it's okay.." He whispered reassuringly, trying to soothe him. Tamaki soon pulled away and whispered shakily "I'm gonna go to my dorm.. I don't want everyone to see me like this..." Mirio reached out for Tamaki but then stopped himself, lowering his hand again. "Alright then, but if you need anything, you know where I am. Plus you can always text me" He gave the other boy a bright smile. Tamaki nodded slightly and stood up slowly, not realizing that he was shaking. He shut his book and held it to his chest as he began walking away to his dorm as calmly as he could.
