"Oh my god..." Kennedy said in shock. Christopher was hanging by his feet from the post. His intestines were dangling from his stomach. Kennedy dropped to her knees. "No!" She cried. Her eyes filled with tears. She began sobbing. Kiefer just stood there, staring at the massacre in front of him. "I never got to tell him. I never got to tell him that he was enough." Kennedy said through tears. Kiefer looked down at her. He didn't know what to say. Then, there was a quiet growling noise. Christopher's eyes opened slowly. He swung his arms in front of him, growling louder. Kennedy started crying even more. Christopher stared right at her. He tried to grab her, but he couldn't move. "You should look away." Kiefer said softly. She looked down at the ground, still sobbing loudly. Kiefer pulled his pistol out of his pocket. It didn't have a silencer on it, so he knew it could attract cucksters. But he didn't care. He couldn't just leave his friend like this. He aimed it at his head. "Goodbye, Christopher." He said quietly. He pulled the trigger. His body swung backwards from the impact of the bullet. Kiefer tried his best to hold back his tears. He turned around, and to his surprise, he saw a girl tied up next to a log. It was Leah. She was unconscious. He quickly ran over to her and untied her. She opened her eyes groggily. "K- Kiefer?" She mumbled. "Yeah, it's me." He said. She looked past him and saw Christopher. She had a moment of realization, when everything came back to her. A tear fell down her face. "Do you know who did this?" Kiefer asked. "It was some kind of fucking cult. They were talking about some kind of sacrifice to the gods." She told him, trying not to cry. "How many were there?" Asked Kiefer. "I didn't get a good look. Maybe seven or eight." She said. "Shit. They could be coming back. Or worse, they could be going to Cuckluck Acres. We have to warn the others." Kiefer said urgently. They stood up. Kennedy was still on the ground, crying. Kiefer put a hand on her shoulder. "Kennedy..." He started. "I know. Just give me a second." She said. After she collected herself, they all began heading back toward Cuckluck Acres.

"Where the fuck did that idiot go?" Tyson wondered aloud. "Kennedy's gone too. I bet they went to look for Christopher." Naona guessed. "Oh great, just what we need. Another two people out on some suicide mission." Tyson said sarcastically. "Calm down. Kiefer knows what he's doing out there. Give him some credit." Said Ryan. The three of them were gathered around one of the picnic tables in the park. They were about to tell Kennedy that they were ready to go look for Christopher, but they couldn't find her anywhere. "Whatever. It's getting late. I'm gonna get some rest." Tyson said. "Good idea. You gonna sleep in your house or Sasha's?" Naona teased him. Tyson look at her, slightly annoyed. "What is that supposed to mean?" He asked. "Well, you've just even spending a lot of time with her, that's all." She responded. Tyson sighed. "Okay. I like her. I like her a lot. More than I've liked anyone else since this whole shit show started." Tyson said reluctantly. Naona and Ryan smiled at him. "Shut up." He groaned, walking away toward Sasha's house. She was waiting for him in the living room. "Hey, baby." She said sweetly. "Baby?" He asked, confused. "Sorry. That was kinda weird." She said awkwardly. "No, I like it." Tyson said, smiling. He sat down on the couch next to her. "So... what's up?" He asked. "Not much, I guess. Just feeling really overwhelmed with everything going on." She told him. "Yeah, I get it. Me too." He agreed. "I know it's probably really shitty to talk about, but what the hell is up with that Devin guy? What did he do to you?" Sasha asked him. Tyson hesitated for a moment. "Let's just say, he tried to own us. He and his army, he wanted to rule over people. He forced them to give him half of everything they had. And if they refused, he'd kill them." Tyson explained. Sasha was silent for a moment. "Jesus. I'm so sorry." She said. Tyson looked at her. He felt so warm and safe when he was around her. "I love you." He blurted out. She was taken aback. And then she smiled. "I love you too." She said softly. Tyson leaned in toward her and began kissing her. She lay down as he got on top of her.
