Alyssa jumped into a tardis that was shaking, it was the same tardis she had jumped from but further in the past, as she watched Rose rush out of further in the Tardis. “What's the emergency?” Rose said,
“It's mauve.” The Doctor said, as he looked at the scanner which showed a ship flying through space,
“Mauve?” Rose asked,
“The universally recognised colour for danger.” Alyssa called out as she made her way over to the console to take a look at the scanner, getting suprised looks from both Rose and the Doctor which quickly disappeared as the Doctor continued flying the Tardis,
“What happened to red?” Rose asked,
“That's just humans. By everyone else's standards, red's camp. Oh, the misunderstandings. All those red alerts, all that dancing. It's got a very basic flight computer. I've hacked in, slaved the Tardis. Where it goes, we go.” The Doctor said,
“And that's safe, is it?” Rose asked,
“Totally.” The Doctor said, as he pulled a lever making sparks fly towards the three all three pulling back,
“Reasonably.” Alyssa said as she pulled another lever, as her and the Doctor worked on following the ship.
“Should have said reasonably there.” The Doctor admitted, as the scanner saw the Ship start going into the time vortex “No, no, no, no! It's jumping time tracks, getting away from us.” the Doctor said,
“What exactly is this thing?” Rose asked,
“No idea.” Alyssa and the Doctor said together,
“Then why are we chasing it?” Rose asked,
“It's mauve and dangerous, and about thirty seconds from the centre of London.” the Doctor said, before he landed the Tardis near where the ship landed,
“Do you know how long you can knock around space without happening to bump into Earth?” The Doctor said as they exited the Tardis,
“Five days? Or is that just when we're out of milk?” Rose said, making Alyssa snicker,
“Of all the species in all the Universe and it has to come out of a cow.” the Doctor said, before he walked forward looking around, Rose and Alyssa following, “Must have come down somewhere quite close. Within a mile, anyway. And it can't have been more than a few weeks ago. Maybe a month.”
“A month? We were right behind it.” Rose said,
“It was jumping time tracks, you could be right behind something and it still land before you.” Alyssa said,
“We’re bound to be a little bit out. Do you want to drive?” the Doctor said,
“Yeah. How much is a little?” Rose said,
“A bit.” the Doctor said making Alyssa roll her eyes
“lets go back to what he said before a month more or less, he never can get the flight exactly right.” Alyssa said,
“oi!”The doctor said, in mock offense,
“What's the plan, then? Are you two going to do a scan for alien tech or something?” Rose said,
“Rose, it hit the middle of London with a very loud bang. I'm going to ask.” the Doctor said, bringing out his psychic paper,
“Doctor shouldn’t we find out when we are first?” Alyssa said, looking around the alleyway, the building style seeming a bit familiar to her,
“Nah.” The Doctor said flashing the psychic paper to Rose
“Doctor John Smith, Ministry of Asteroids.” Rose read aloud,
“It's psychic paper. It tells you” the Doctor started,
“Whatever you want it to tell me, I remember.”Rose finished,
“Doc, I really think we should find out when we are, there could be anything going on in London,” Alyssa said, again, as they approached a door
“We can and will just ask,” the Doctor said,
“Not very Spock, is it, just asking.” Rose said,
“Rose you watch to much TV not everything has to be Spock-like.” Alyssa said, to the disappointment to Rose,
“Door, music, people. What do you think?” The Doctor said, as he listened though the door
“I think you should do a scan for alien tech. Give me some Spock, for once. Would it kill you?” Rose said, as he started trying to get the door open,
“I mean it's not a bad idea Doctor, lets go back to the Tardis do a scan and the trip can be done faster.” Alyssa said, the Doctor looked over at Alyssa before his eyes turned towards Rose’s shirt which was the Union flag,
“Are you sure about that t-shirt?” the Doctor said,
“Too early to say. I'm taking it out for a spin.” Rose said,
“he’s ignoring me, He’s ignoring my ideas” Alyssa said, before turning to Rose “Why is he ignoring me?” Rose opened her mouth to say something, only to be interrupted by a child’s voice,
“Mummy? Mummy?” the voice said, and both Alyssa and Rose frowned, before Rose walked down the Alleyway and looked around,
“Come on if you're coming. It won't take a minute.” the Doctor said, as he got the door opened, before he went inside, Alyssa looked back and forth between the door and Rose, before she pointed at her,
“You be careful!” she said before she rushed after the Doctor. the two followed the sounds until they found a dining area with a singer, who was singing ‘it had to be you’ the Doctor and Alyssa stayed by the entrance until the singer stopped and the two walked forward, Alyssa looking around the room, the Doctor heading for the microphone, Alyssa following.
“Excuse me. Excuse me. Could I have everybody's attention just for a mo? Be very quick. Hello! Might seem like a stupid question, but has anything fallen from the sky recently?” The Doctor said, and people slowly started laughing, as Alyssa’s eyes fell upon a poster, “Sorry, have I said something funny? It's just, there's this thing that I need to find. Would've fallen from the sky a couple of days ago.” the Doctor started, before Alyssa interupped him,
“Um Doctor you know how I said we should find out when we were?” Alyssa said in a hushed voice, and the doctor nodded as he turned to her “It was a really good idea.” as an Air raid siren started going off and everyone got up and started to leave, and Alyssa pointed at the poster that read ‘Hitler will send no warning!’ they were in London during the Air raids of World War 2 and the Doctor made a exasperated expression, which made Alyssa smirk,
“oh shut up.” he said, before the two rushed out of the room, and back towards the alleyway they left Rose,
“Rose?” The Doctor called out, who was nowhere to be seen, a cat meowed and The Doctor picked it up, “You know, one day, just one day, maybe, I'm going to meet someone who gets the whole don't wander off thing. Nine hundred years of phone box travel, it's the only thing left to surprise me.” the Doctor said, right before the tardis phone started ringing, which the Doctor walked over to it in complete disbelief,
“only thing left to suprise you?” Alyssa muttered, as she looked shocked too,
“How can you be ringing? What's that about, ringing? What am I supposed to do with a ringing phone?” The Doctor said
“Answer it?” Alyssa suggested as she started racking her brain for the episode, as the Doctor got out his sonic screwdriver,
“Don't answer it. It's not for you.” a female voice called out,
“And how do you know that?” The Doctor said, walking forward a bit,
“'Cos I do. And I'm telling you, don't answer it.” the female said,
“Well, if you know so much, tell me this. How can it be ringing? It's not even a real phone. It's not connected,” the Doctor started
“Doctor she’s gone”  Alyssa said, as she watched Nancy walk away, and the Doctor looked back at the phone as it continued ringing,
“Hello? Hello? This is the Doctor speaking. How may I help you?” the Doctor said, as Alyssa walked over and the Doctor held it so both of them could listen,
“Mummy? Mummy?” a child’s voice said again,
“Who is this? Who's speaking?” The Doctor said,
“Are you my mummy?” the child asked,
“Who is this?” Alyssa asked,
“Mummy?”
“How did you ring here? This isn't a real phone. It's not wired up to anything.” the Doctor said,
“Mummy?” The child said before the dialing tone started as whatever called them hung up.
“Rose? Rose, are you in there?” The Doctor said, before a crashing noise happened and the two ran over out of the alleyway where they heard a family,
“The planes are coming. Can't you hear them? Into the shelter. None of your nonsense, now move it!” A female said, the Doctor quickly climbed up a wall, before holding a hand out to Alyssa helping her climb up, as a mother ushered her kid into an Air raid shelter,  “Come on, hurry up, get in there. Come on. Arthur! Arthur, Will you hurry up? Didn't you hear the siren?” the woman yelled as a man came out of the house,
“Middle of dinner, every night. Blooming Germans. Don't they eat?” Arthur said, as he rushed out of the house “I can hear the planes!” the woman said,
“Don't you eat?” Arthur yelled out once again,
“Oh, keep your voice down, will you? It's an air raid! Get in. Look, there's a war on.” the woman yelled as the two rushed into the the shelter,
“I know there's a war on. Don't push me.” Arthur said, and once they were inside the female they had just seen walked into the house.
they snuck into the house after watching various children run in the house. to find them all at the table, where they sat too just as the female started passing around turkey, all the kids saying thank you, as they took a slice until the Doctor took a slice “Thanks, miss!” the Doctor said, making all the kids get up in shock,
“It's all right. Everybody stay where you are!” The female said,
“Good here, innit? Who's got the salt?” the Doctor said, as Alyssa took a slice from his plate. as he had taken two pieces of the turkey, “Oi!” he said, but made no move to take the slice back,
“Back in your seats. they shouldn't be here either.” the female said as the children sat down again,
“So, you lot, what's the story?” The Doctor said,
“What do you mean?” one of the children said,
“You're homeless, right? Living rough?” the Doctor said,
“Why do you want to know that? Are you  a copper?” another of the kids said,
“Hardly.” Alyssa said,
“Of course I'm not a copper. What's a copper going to do with you lot anyway? Arrest you for starving? I make it 1941.” He said checking his watch “you lot shouldn't even be in London. You should've been evacuated to the country by now.” the Doctor said,
“I was evacuated. Sent me to a farm.”one of the youngest said,
“So why'd you come back?” Alyssa said,
“There was a man there” he said,
“Yeah, same with Ernie. Two homes ago.” one of the other children said,
“Shut up. It's better on the streets anyway. It's better food.” The kid now known to be Ernie said,
“Yeah. Nancy always gets the best food for us.” a different kid said,
“So, that's what you do, is it, Nancy?” the Doctor said, looking at the eldest female
“What is?” Nancy said,
“As soon as the sirens go, you find a big fat family meal still warm on the table with everyone down in the air raid shelter and bingo! Feeding frenzy for the homeless kids of London Town. Puddings for all, as long as the bombs don't get you.” the Doctor said,
“Something wrong with that?” Nancy said
“Wrong  with it? It’s brilliant.” Alyssa said,
“I'm not sure if it's Marxism in action or a West End musical.” The Doctor said,
“Why'd you follow me? What do you want?” Nancy said,
“I want to know how a phone that isn't a phone gets a phone call. You seem to be the one to ask.” The Doctor said,
“I did you a favour. I told you not to answer it, that's all I'm telling you.” Nancy said,
“So you do know more. Nancy don’t you.” Alyssa said staring at her, but Nancy just stared at her “fair enough keep your secrets if you deem it better that way.” before going back to her food.
“I want to find a blonde in a Union Jack. I mean a specific one. I didn't just wake up this morning with a craving. Anybody seen a girl like that?” The Doctor said,
“No blondes, no flags. Anything else before you leave?” Nancy said,
“Yeah, there is actually. Thanks for asking. Something I've been looking for. Would've fallen from the sky about a month ago, but not a bomb. Not the usual kind, anyway. Wouldn't have exploded. Probably would have just buried itself in the ground somewhere, and it would have looked something like this.” The Doctor said, as he drew the ship they chased here and held it up to the kids to see. before a knocking on the window sounded,
“Mummy? Are you in there, mummy?” a male child said from outside the glass, the Doctor and Alyssa got up,Alyssa opened the curtain to reveal a boy in a gas mask “Mummy?”
“Who was the last one in?” Nancy said,
“Him.” Ernie said,
“No, they came round the back. Who came in the front?” Nancy said, as Alyssa turned around
“Me.” a young kid said,
“Did you close the door?” Nancy said, but the kid didn’t answer, “Did you close the door?”  she asked again before she rushed off, to close the front door,
“Mummy? Mummy? Mummy?” The child said, as Nancy closed the door and bolted it shut Alyssa and the Doctor watching
“What's this, then? It's never easy being the only child left out in the cold, you know.” the Doctor said,
“I suppose you'd know.” Nancy said,
“I do actually, yes.” The Doctor said,
“It's not exactly a child.” Nancy said before she rushed back into the dining room,
“Mummy?” the child said,
“Right, everybody out. Across the back garden and under the fence. Now! Go! Move!” she said and everyone started rushing out of the house, besides one little girl “Come on, baby, we've got to go, all right? It's just like a game. Just like chasing. Take your coat, go on. Go!” before the little girl got up and ran out
“Mummy? Mummy? Please let me in, mummy. Please let me in, mummy.” the child said, as a hand reached through the letter box,
“Are you all right?” Alyssa said,
“Please let me in.” the child said, before something was thrown against the door that shattered and the hand withdrew
“You mustn't let him touch you!” Nancy said, as she was the one who threw the glass,
“What happens if he touches me?” Alyssa said,
“He'll make you like him.” Nancy said,
“And what's he like?” the Doctor said,
“I've got to go.” Nancy said, before she turned around to leave,
“Nancy, what's he like?” Alyssa said, as she continued to rack her head for the episode,
“He's empty.” Nancy said, and Alyssa finally realized what episode it was. A telephone started ringing, “It's him. He can make phones ring. He can. Just like with that police box you saw.” Nancy said, before the Doctor picked up the phone,
“Are you my mummy?” the child said, through the phone, before Nancy took the reciever from the phone and hung it up. before the radio in the dining room started up and the child’s voice came through once again, “Mummy? Please let me in, mummy.” as the Doctor and Alyssa went in, the Doctor turned one of the knobs on the radio. which caused a Clockwork Monkey to start up and “Mummy, mummy, mummy.” the child said through it in an endless loop,
“You stay if you want to.” Nancy said, before she left causing the two to go back into the hallway,
“Mummy? Let me in please, mummy. Please let me in.” the child said, sticking his hand through the letter slot again where a scar was, causing Alyssa and the Doctor to crouch down in front of it,
“Your mummy isn't here.” Alyssa said,
“Are you my mummy?” the child said,
“No mummies here. Nobody here but us chickens.” The Doctor said, looking at Alyssa who gave him a ‘seriously’ look “Well, this chicken.”
“I'm scared.” The child said
“Why are those other children frightened of you?” Alyssa said,
“please let me in, mummy. I'm scared of the bombs.” the child said,
“Okay. I'm opening the door now.” Alyssa said, before she started unbolting the door as the hand withdrew, and opened it to see the child gone.
the two managed to track the way Nancy went and followed her to where she must have been living. she quickly realized they were there and straightened “How'd you follow me here?”
“I'm good at following, me. Got the nose for it.” the Doctor said,
“People can't usually follow me if I don't want them to.” Nancy said,
“My nose has special powers.” the Doctor said,
“Yeah? That's why it's” Nancy said, stopping just short,  making Alyssa smirk and the Doctor glanced between the two of them
“What?” The Doctor said,
“Nothing.” Nancy said,
“What?” he just asked again,
“Nothing. Do your ears have special powers too?” Nancy said, making Alyssa burst out laughing,
“What are you trying to say?” the Doctor said,
“Goodnight, Mister.” Nancy said,
“Nancy, there's something chasing you and the other kids. Looks like a boy and it isn't a boy, and it started about a month ago, right? The thing I'm looking for, the thing that fell from the sky, that's when it landed. And you know what I'm talking about, don't you?” the Doctor said,
“There was a bomb. A bomb that wasn't a bomb. Fell the other end of Limehouse Green Station.”
“Take us there.” Alyssa said,
“There's soldiers guarding it. Barbed wire. You'll never get through.” Nancy said,
“Try us.” Alyssa said,
“You sure you want to know what's going on in there?” Nancy said,
“we really want to know.” the Doctor said,
“Then there's someone you need to talk to first.” Nancy said,
“Yeah and who might that be?” Alyssa asked,
“The Doctor.” Nancy said, before Nancy said, before she walked away, leaving the Doctor confused, before the two followed her
they made their way to the solider’s encampment, as the doctor used binoculars to see the inside of the camp. “The bomb's under that tarpaulin. They put the fence up over night. See that building? The hospital.” Nancy said,
“What about it?” the Doctor said, looking at it through his binoculars,
“That's where the doctor is. You should talk to him.” Nancy said,
“For now, I'm more interested in getting in there.” the Doctor said,
“Talk to the doctor first.” Nancy said,
“Why?” Alyssa said,
“Because then maybe you won't want to get inside.” Nancy said, before she turned to leave,
“Where're you going?” The Doctor asked,
“There was a lot of food in that house. I've got mouths to feed. Should be safe enough now.” Nancy said,
“Can I ask you a question? Who did you lose?” Alyssa asked,
“What?” Nancy said,
“The way you look after all those kids. It's because you lost somebody, isn't it? You're doing all this to make up for it.” Alyssa said,
“My little brother. Jamie. One night I went out looking for food. Same night that thing fell. I told him not to follow me, I told him it was dangerous, but he just. He just didn't like being on his own.” Nancy said,
“What happened?” the Doctor said,
“In the middle of an air raid? What do you think happened?” Nancy said
“Amazing.” The Doctor said,
“What is?” Nancy said,
“1941. Right now, not very far from here, the German war machine is rolling up the map of Europe. Country after country, falling like dominoes. Nothing can stop it. Nothing. Until one, tiny, damp little island says no. No. Not here. A mouse in front of a lion. You're amazing, the lot of you. Don't know what you do to Hitler, but you frighten the hell out of me. Off you go then do what you've got to do. Save the world.” the Doctor said, before he and Alyssa walked down and to the hospital.
They made their way down to the gate which was locked. Alyssa beat the Doctor in getting out her sonic and used it to to unlock the gate. she smirked at the Doctor before she started in to the hospital, “you were ignoring me earlier, my ideas, you don’t usually do that.” Alyssa said,
“Hmm?” The Doctor said,
“What’s up?” Alyssa said, she said as they approached the main door,
“just you throw yourself into danger so willingly… You’ll get yourself killed.” The Doctor said, almost a little sad
“Doc, did something happen?” she asked, stopping, but the Doctor kept going, she followed after,  “Doctor, talk to me.”
“I wish I could… but I have a feeling it’s still in the future for you.” he said,
“Doctor you can’t talk about throwing myself into danger you do it all the time,” Alyssa started before she grabbed his arm pulling him to a stop “but whatever happened, Doc, I promise I will never leave you,” making the Doctor scoff,
“I promise, Doc.” Alyssa said “And if I do something that puts myself into danger? It's because I know you will be there.” the Doctor let out a sigh before nodding
“Stop calling me Doc.” he said, before he started towards the hospital front doors again,
“yeah that’s not going to happen.” Alyssa said, following after him. they entered the Hospital and walked around finding dark rooms where bodies were laying in each bed, all wearing gasmasks, they continued walking in the hospital. before they turned around to see a old man with a walking stick “You'll find them everywhere. In every bed, in every ward. Hundreds of them.” the man said,
“Yes, We saw. Why are they still wearing gas masks?” the Doctor asked,
“They're not. Who are you?” the man said,
“I'm, er. Are you the doctor?” the Doctor said,
“Doctor Constantine. And you are?” Constantine said,
“Nancy sent us.” Alyssa said, as the man walked over and pas them
“Nancy? That means you must've been asking about the bomb.” Constantine said,
“Yes.” the Doctor said,
“What do you know about it?” Constantine said,
“Nothing. Why I was asking. What do you know?” the Doctor said,
“Only what it's done.” Constantine said, looking around the room
“These people, they were all caught up in the blast?” Alyssa asked,
“None of them were.” Doctor Constantine said, before chuckling before he started coughing and sat down in the chair behind him,
“You're very sick.” the Doctor said,
“Dying, I should think. I just haven't been able to find the time. Are you a doctor?” Constantine said,
“I have my moments.” the Doctor said,
“Have you examined any of them yet?” Doctor Constantine said,
“No we haven’t” Alyssa said,
“Don't touch the flesh.”Constantine said,
“Which one?” the Doctor said,
“Any one.” Constantine said, and the Doctor and Alyssa walked over to one of the patients, the Doctor pulling out his Sonic to exam the patient, “Conclusions?”
“Massive head trauma, mostly to the left side. Partial collapse of the chest cavity, mostly to the right. There's some scarring on the back of the hand and the gas mask seems to be fused to the flesh, but I can't see any burns.” the Doctor said, as Alyssa took out her own sonic and walked over to another one
“Examine another one.” Constantine said, as Alyssa scanned the patient she walked up to
“Same results Doctor,” Alyssa called out
“That isn't possible.” the Doctor said,
“Examine another.” Constantine said, and the Doctor walked over to another one and scanned the patient again finding the same injuries.
“This isn't possible.” The Doctor said,
“No.” Constantine said, as the Doctor walked over to other patients.
“They've all got the same injuries.” The Doctor said
“Yes.” Constantine said
“Exactly the same.” the Dotor said,
“Yes.”Constantine repeated
“Identical, all of them, right down to the scar on the back of the hand.” the Doctor said, “How did this happen? How did it start?”
“When that bomb dropped, there was just one victim.” Doctor Constantine said,
“Dead?” Alyssa said,
“At first. His injuries were truly dreadful. By the following morning, every doctor and nurse who had treated him, who had touched him, had those exact same injuries. By the morning after that, every patient in the same ward, the exact same injuries. Within a week, the entire hospital. Physical injuries as plague. Can you explain that? What would you say was the cause of death?” Constantine said,
“The head trauma.” The Doctor said,
“No.” Constantine said
“Asphyxiation.” the Doctor said,
“No.” Constantine,
“The collapse of the chest cavity” The Doctor said,
“No.” Constantine said,
“All right. What was the cause of death?” the Doctor said,
“better question, are they dead?” Alyssa said,
“There wasn’t one. They're not dead.” Constantie said before he hit the waste basket near him with his cane, which made all the patients sit up,
“It's all right. They're harmless. They just sort of sit there. No heartbeat, no life signs of any kind. They just don't die.” Constantine said,
“And they've just been left here? Nobody's doing anything?” The Doctor asked, before the patients layed back down,
“I try and make them comfortable. What else is there?” Constantine said,
“Just you? You're the only one here?” The Doctor asked,
“Before this war began, I was a father and a grandfather. Now I am neither. But I'm still a doctor.” Constantine said,
“Yeah. I know the feeling.” the Doctor said,
“I suspect the plan is to blow up the hospital and blame it on a German bomb.” Constantine said,
“Probably too late.” the Doctor said,
“No. There are isolated cases. Isolated cases breaking out all over London” He said before he started coughing,  “Stay back, stay back. Listen to me. Top floor. Room eight oh two. That's where they took the first victim, the one from the crash site. And you must find Nancy again.” Constantine said,
“Nancy?” Alyssa said,
“It was her brother. She knows more than she's saying. She won't tell me, but she might” he said before he started making a chocking sound, “Mummy. Are you my mummy?” he said before a gasmask came and took over his face before he slumped to the side,
“Hello?” a familar voice to Alyssa said,
“Jack.” She whispered as she turned and followed the Doctor,
“Hello?” Rose called out
“Hello?” Jack yelled as the two entered the hallway, and Rose and Jack walked over to them before Jack shook the Doctor’s hand
“Good evening. Hope we're not interrupting. Jack Harkness. I've been hearing all about you two on the way over.” Jack said, before he held his hand out to Alyssa, and once he took it brought it up and kissed the back of it. making Alyssa cringe but she did her best to hide it,
“He knows. I had to tell him about us being Time Agents.” Rose said, and
“And it's a real pleasure to meet you, Mister Spock. and you Alyssa.” he said, before he walked past the two, to the room they had just left,
“Mister Spock?” The Doctor questioned
‘What was I supposed to say? You don't have a name. Don't you ever get tired of Doctor? Doctor who?”
“you can just say Doctor Rose, you’ll be suprised how many people actually don’t know that name.” Alyssa muttered
“Nine centuries in, I'm coping. Where've you been? We're in the middle of a London Blitz. It's not a good time for a stroll.” The Doctor said,
“Who's strolling? I went by barrage balloon. Only way to see an air raid.”
“barrage balloon?” Alyssa said,
“What?!” The Doctor said,
“Listen, what's a Chula warship?” Rose said, as the three started forward,
“Chula?” The Doctor said,
The four went into the room where some of the patients were, and Jack scanned the patients, “This just isn't possible. How did this happen?” Jack said
“you tell us, what type of Chula ship landed here?” Alyssa said,
“What?” Jack said,
“He said it was a warship. He stole it, parked it somewhere out there, somewhere a bomb's going to fall on it unless we make him an offer.” Rose said,
“What kind of warship?” The Doctor asked,
“Does it matter? It's got nothing to do with this.” Jack said,
“This started at the bomb site. It's got everything to do with it. What kind of warship?” The Doctor said,
“An ambulance! Look.” Jack said before he pulled out a electronic device and showed a hologram of the ship they had chased here, “That's what you chased through the Time Vortex. It's space junk. I wanted to kid you it was valuable. It's empty. I made sure of it. Nothing but a shell. I threw it at you. Saw your time travel vehicle, love the retro look, by the way, nice panels. Threw you the bait”
“Bait?” Rose said,
“I wanted to sell it to you and then destroy it before you found out it was junk.” Jack said,
“You said it was a war ship.” Rose said
“Ambulances can be warships.” Alyssa said,
“They have ambulances in wars. It was a con. I was conning you. That's what I am, I'm a con man. I thought you were Time Agents. You're not, are you.” Jack said,
“Yep you figured us out,” Alyssa said, in a teasing way,
“Just a couple more freelancers.” Rose added,
“Oh. Should have known. The way you guys are blending in with the local colour. I mean, Flag Girl was bad enough, but U-Boat Captain? Anyway, whatever's happening here has got nothing to do with that ship.”
“It could have everything to do with the ship Jack, there is so many tech out there, do you really believe there couldn’t have been something unseeable in that ship?” Alyssa said, and Jack was about to say something, before he was stopped by Rose.
“What is happening here, Doctor?” Rose said,
“Human DNA is being rewritten by an idiot.” The Doctor said
“don’t call Jack an idiot Doctor.” Alyssa said, shaking her head,
“What do you mean?” Rose said,
“I don't know. Some kind of virus converting human beings into these things. But why? What's the point?” The Doctor said, and they started looking down the room. Before all the patients sat up and all said “Mummy. Mummy. Mummy? Mummy?” before they started getting up the four backing away from them
“What's happening?” Rose asked,
“I don't know.” The Doctor said, as the patients started advancing on them,
“Mummy.” all the patients said,
“Don't let them touch you.” The Doctor said, as the four were against a wall,
“What happens if they touch us?” Rose said,
“You're looking at it.” Alyssa said,
“Help me, mummy.” patients said before they started repeating themselves as they continued advancing on them, “Mummy. Mummy. Mummy. Mummy. Mummy. Mummy.” they all continued to say.
