5. Late Night & Drunken Fights

Hey here is chapter 5, sorry it is coming late. I had trouble writing this chapter :c I rewrote it sooo many times but I finally decided to leave it at this.

Violet's p.o.v.

It was hopeless. I tried washing the dye out but my hair remained a bright purple and blue color.

I can't believe Jewels did this. She had said that she was only going to color the ends...not all of it! I sighed running my fingers through my hair, well at least I got a cute hair cut.

It was still long and down to my mid-back, but Jewels had given me cute bangs that kind of covered my eyes.

Jewels, Sky, and the boys had all said it looked good on me. Looking at my reflection I pushed my new bangs out of my eyes.

The sparkling amethyst color in my eyes stood out more, with flecks of blue in them. Huh...I guess the hair color did look good with my creamy skin and my eyes.

Pulling my hair back into a messy bun I walk out of my room and sit next to Jewels on the couch.

"Okay...I took another look and I don't hate it...you were right." I mumble the last part.

Jewels smirks at me raising an eyebrow, "what was that?...I'm sorry I didn't hear you."

I roll my eyes throwing a pillow at her smiling. "I said you were right, the hair color does look good."

She gives me a satisfied nod and I stretch out on the couch. "So what are we going to do about dresses for the party?" I ask.

"Don't worry I'll help you pick out a dress and so will Sky." She replied.

I smiled turning back to the tv, I really like having friends. It was especially nice since I only had "acquaintances" back in the Underworld.

Most of our day was spent on the couch downing sodas, eating popcorn and pizza. Total movie marathon. Only we had started watching Supernatural. Sam & Dean had won our hearts over for the day after one episode.

We didn't start getting ready for the party until after 7:30pm. I was in my room laying on my bed frustrated as hell.

Why? Because Jewels and Sky could not, for the good of all things sweet, agree on a dress for me to wear.

They had been arguing for the past fifteen minutes...I gave up awhile ago.

"I'm telling you she should wear a black dress!" Sky yelled.

"She should wear blue, come on Sky! It would totally match her hair!" Jewels shouted back.

"But black will make her hair stand out more!" Sky glared crossing her arms over her chest.

I sighed sitting up and crossing my legs, "why don't you know...oh, let ME pick out the dress." I commented and they both stop yelling at each other. Finally.

They agree and lay out both dresses on my bed for me to look at them.

The blue dress seemed short and the top half was almost like a corset top. Eh it is okay, but not my style.

The black dress was gorgeous! It was a high-low dress that was kind of sheer fabric on the lower skirt. The bodice of the dress had a sweetheart neckline, and black beading that makes it shimmer when the lights hit it just right.

It was really pretty and I instantly knew this was the dress for me. "I like the black one." I smile rubbing my fingers over the silky fabric.

Jewels frowned but nodded in defeat. "Fine."
