Xavier pov

I sat in my treehouse thinking about Jackie. I sighed as I closed my eyes beginning to doze off. A sudden loud noise made me open my eyes. Maya game running and told me something was going on at the football field. I got very annoyed and went to see what was going on. My guards set me down and everyone stood shocked. We watched as Jackie reeled back and threw a water balloon at a tree making it break sending small bits of wood everywhere. My heart started racing we all stared at Jackie until it was dinner time.

At home

I walked into my house still thinking of Jackie. My mom greeted me "hey Xavi guess what." My mom said in a cheery tone I didn't wanna guess. "What?" I asked my mom smiled "you get to go stay across the street tonight." My face burned at the fact that I get to spend the night with Jackie. I grabbed a few things and went across the street. I knocked on the door my heart beating a million miles a minute. Jackie's mom answered the door and gave me a bright smile. She let me in and called Jackie downstairs. "Xavier will be staying with us for the night." Jackie's mom said she started to say something else, but I was too focused on Jackie to listen. She was in a light purple sweater and black leggings my heart threatened to jump out of my chest. Jackie's mom sent us upstairs and we hung out in Jackie's room. I looked at her room there were books on shelves and posters on the walls. One thing that I noticed was the giant collection of stuffed animals and plushies that sat on a shelf above Jackie's bed. There was one that wasn't though a cute frog pillow. I smiled and started to play on my phone while Jackie sat in a swinging chair reading.

Two hours later

I yawned and stretched feeling tired. I and Jackie were about to go to bed when we realized we hadn't thought about sleeping arrangements. We both thought for a moment then just laid down back to back.

Jackie pov

My face was burning from my blush. I don't know why I was so embarrassed though I mean we did cuddle when I stayed at his house. I tried to shake the thought from my head and went to sleep. I did make a mental note to ask my parents about turning Dad's train room into a guest room though. It probably wouldn't happen, but it is worth a shot.

Three hours later

I awoke from my sleep to the sound of crying. I rolled over and realized it was Xavier. "No...please stop...NONONO" he cried in his sleep. I got worried as he started crying more "dad no...please" he cried I got really worried and pulled Xavier closer to me hugging him. I started singing the song safe and sound.

I stopped when I felt Xavier hug me back in his sleep his tears stopping. I started to pet his hair "it's ok Xavier." I said as I soon drifted to sleep again.

Morning

I woke up the following morning Xavier still asleep in my arms. I smiled not wanting to get up but did when I heard my mom call us down for breakfast. I gently shook Xavier awake and we walked downstairs at sat at the table. I looked at Xavier he looked lost in his thoughts I frowned and gently grabbed his hand. He jumped slightly I smiled Xavier smiled holding my hand back.
