"151 million years ago." That's all I could hear in my head. It was echoing and making my headache. All I could hear was that sentence. How could the Master be 151 million years old? Humans had only been on Earth for 2 million years.

"I-I don't understand..."

"O' course ya don't, it's natural. Bu' we need ta move on. Ya mus' be wondering why yer 'ere, righ'?"

"Of course, I was just interested about humanity's past. I didn't have an opportunity to ask yet." I replied.

"Well, now ya will know," The Master paused, his voice breaking and his lips quavering. "Ya are extremely talented, wen ya were born, ya let forth such a burst o' power, tha' it did no' go unnoticed by mo' talented Guild masters. How'ver, I was quick of the mark, and I claimed ya fer my Guild before anyone else could."

Again, my mind was blown. I was so shocked I fell off the bed I was lying on. I felt a stirring in my heart, and movement in my soul. My vision started to go blurry, and I blacked out.

When I woke up, I was in pitch black darkness. All I could feel was the floor touching my feet. I stood for about an hour, but my legs got tired, so I sat down, what felt like an eternity passed by, before light filled the room. Or rather, a light filled the room. It was about 20 feet in front of me, and it looked like a small sun, except a bright white color.

"Sorry you had to wait so long; it took me a while to awaken." When the light spoke, it vibrated and changed form.

"A-Awaken?" I asked, startled and shocked.

"Ah, yes. I've been dormant for a while, about 16 years ago, I partially woke up to inhabit your body. And now I'm fully awake, although I have to suppress myself otherwise your body will explode..." the light mused.

"Is that because your magic is really powerful?" I asked, starting to form an idea of who he might be in my head.

"Yes, some might say it was the most powerful in existence. Although I'm not too sure about that. The other galaxies... they're monstrous."

"Are you who I think you are? Are you Soleos?" I asked, my voice trembling and my gaze shifting.

"Hmmm... Yes, I am. I haven't heard my name in so long." he replied.

"Wait... does that mean you are going to be resurrected in my body? Are you going to kill me, and take over my body?" I exclaimed, extremely scared.

"No no no no no. Don't worry about that. There is a reason I chose you as my vessel. I am resurrected, but I'm not taking over your body. I'm taking you as my apprentice, so you can fulfill my curse. I've been dormant so long, because I had to find the perfect person. And I did, it needed to be a human obviously, so it's very rare that a human is born with magical qualities. But you... even without my help you could become stronger than me. When Russia was devasted, it was exactly when you were born, your birth caused all that, because the Earth was backlashing at having something so strong in its atmosphere. Eventually, it got used to it so you didn't bother it so much."

I was confused, how could I be so powerful? I was born to regular humans and nothing made me different to the rest of the humans, so how could I be so powerful?

"W-wait a minute. My parents are regular humans. So I should be a regular human as well."

"Alas, that's not how it works." Soleos replied. "Magic is not born from heritage. It does help, but you don't need to have magical parents. Before a baby is born, magic essence tests the will of each baby. If you have a strong enough will, you will obtain magic. The strength of that magic is undeterminable. Meaning that we have no way of knowing how strong the magic will be, until the user obtains it."

"The reason why magic is practically non-existent in places like the Abode of the Weak, is because there is not a lot of magic essence there. When magic essence first enters a body, it must give the person magical powers or it will dissipate. So it must be careful selecting a body otherwise it will fade away, and since there is not a lot of able bodies there lots of magic essence is lost through picking people to weak."

I processed the information, the adrenaline of finding out about magic was wearing off and I started to fell quite shocked with the situation.

"Now, I know ya'll need some time to yerself after this, so I'll give ya rest until tomorrow morning. When ya wake up a servant will be here to help, and ya will enroll as a student in the Heavens Gate Guild. Which is technically yer guild. Sleep tight." The old man walked away and left the room, leaving me to my thoughts, however I decided that I should rest so I went straight to sleep.
