Dog's POV:
I sit by the fireplace on this cold day.
I am grateful to live inside where it is warm.
I see the snow outside on the ground. I see the freezing rain as it hits the trees.
I am glad to have owners that do not make me live in the cold air.
I might bark and act all tough.
I would not hurt anyone.
I am as happy as I can be.
Yes, this is life for me.
I got a phone for my birthday.
It is a shiny red color. At least I think it is red, but I am color blind.
I do not understand all the features on it yet. I am trying to learn.
How do humans figure this all out?
I can chase a squirrel up a tree or the neighbor's cat out of the yard.
I do not know the last thing there is to know about phones.
My voice mail suits me just fine, or so I have been told.
Here it is for you:
"Hello, this is Butch Bulldog. I am happy to say, Bark, Bow Wow. I am your ever-faithful pal."
"So, how was it? Did I get it right?"
The story continues in Chapter 3 Harold Hamster
bye, bye little owlets!
