For as long as I could remember, it had always been me and James, the mischievous potter twins as people had taken to calling us. If one went somewhere, the other wouldn't be too far behind and that was exactly how we had liked it.Mum and dad had said that when we were just born that I, Y/N, was a stillborn, that the nurses had tried using magic to keep me here but it wasn't working. So for my first and last moments they had allowed me to hold onto my twin and suddenly my heart was beating again. So in a way, James was my life line and I didn't really know who I would be without him.
The first time we had opened our eyes and smiled was when we were holding hands in mum's arms. We couldn't go to sleep in separate cribs without crying, we couldn't eat alone and just in general we had to always be with each other. Mum and dad had said how they had found it adorable yet frustrating at the same time considering how they had to continuously hold both of us at the same time or they weren't allowed to hold us at all as we didn't want to be without the other.
Despite this, we argued and fought like any normal siblings. We fought over toys, over who got what, over our parents, over who was the better sibling and ect. But at the end of the day, James would always be the one apologising, maybe it was due to the fact he thought it was the right thing to do as the older sibling but I honestly wouldn't know. He was a weird older brother, but mine nonetheless. If it came down to one if us dying, I hoped that I'd be the one dying first.

"Y/N, come on! We're gonna miss the train back to hogwarts!" A voice called out for the female who had just finished packing her items into her suitcase.
"Coming James!" She yelled back, grabbing her suitcases and bags before rushing down the stairs of the manor where her twin and parents stood waiting for her.
Euphemia Potter stood tall and regal, her figure and features as poised and defined as a pure blood's would be. Her status of Lady of the most noble and ancient house of Potter was greatly suited for her as an aura that commanded respect emitted from her. Yet despite this her features held a soft look as she smiled at her kids who would be heading into their 5th year at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Fleamont Potter, Lord to the most ancient and noble house of Potter, stood besides her, his figure more relaxed yet still holding a powerful aura. He smiled at his daughter, waving his wand as he recited the levitating charm causing her suitcase and bag to float in the air.
"Thanks pops," you grinned, placing a kiss on his cheek as you went besides your twin.
James stood looking happy and seeming too hyper to finally be going back to hogwarts. His messy brown potter hair, that would never stay in one place, obscuring some of his vision causing you to sigh as you adjusted it to give him Lady Hectate's gift of sight. James looked sheepishly at you as he smiled in thanks.
"Ready, my dears?" Your mother asked you and James, as she and your dad places their hands in front of you. The two potter twins grinned as they placed their hands in their parents.
A whooshing sound was heard as a familiar feeling crept up in your stomach.
The next thing you know, you were no longer in your manor but instead surrounded by other people. Loud chattering, laughter and shouts being heard as people waved goodbye to their families and kids reunited with old friends or made new ones. A large red train was in the middle making train noises as people entered. They were in platform 3/4 of King Cross station and would finally be going back to Hogwarts.
