Fell For Her Spell ✔

Chapter ~12~

I stared at his retreating back. He was about to take another breath from his cigarette but then looked at me. We gazed at each others for what felt like eternity. He let the cigarette fall to the ground and then stomped his foot over it.

That just made me fuzzy and all happy in the inside. I felt flattered that he threw the cigarette away for me. Maybe he does care. He then walked away leaving me just staring at nothing in particular. I walked back to the kitchen and grabbed my bag and then jogged to my car in the garage.

I opened the door and hopped inside of my white Ferrari. I brought the engine to life and just smiled at the sound of it roaring. I backed out of the garage and reversed the car and then sped down the road heading to Axel's house.

He texted me his address this morning and his house was surprisingly not so far away. His house was at the end of the street. He was in the neighborhood ,Which means that we were neighbors. I parked the car in his driveway and then hopped out of the car. Hopefully ,This is his house.

I locked the car and then jogged to the front door. I knocked on the door and waited for the door to be opened. A few seconds later ,I heard footsteps coming towards the door. The door flung open revealing Axel.

He grinned when he saw me and his smile was so contagious that it made a smile creep to my lips "Come in" He said and moved aside so ,I can enter his house.

I looked around the house and it was so cozy and beautiful. The house was big but not as big as Emma's and Robert's. If you haven't noticed ,I still feel awkward to refer to Emma's and Robert's house as mine.

"Nice house" I said as I looked around the place.

"Thanks" he said smiling.

"Who's that?" a woman asked from behind Axel who I assume is his mother.

"Mom meet Laura. Laura meet mom" he introduced us and I was gonna shake hands with his mother when she embraced me in a hug. I was surprised at first but then hugged her back.

Axel grabbed my hand and walked to the basement before his mother can tell me anymore embarrassing stories of him. She already told me that until two years ago he couldn't sleep without his teddy bear. Poor Axel turned into a tomato when she told me that.

I really love the woman ,She was gonna tell me other stories. But ,Axel quickly grabbed my hand and jogged to the basement. We entered the basement ,He let go of my hand and started pacing around with his hands covering his face.

If this wasn't the cutest thing ever then I don't know what is. Although ,He looks so cute when he's blushing and embarrassed but ,I decided to put him out of his misery.

"It's not that embarras-" I said but he cut me off.

"It is totally embarrassing" He said shaking his head and finally taking his hands off of his face.

"It's actually cute" I said smirking.

"Stop" he yelled making me giggle.

"You're enjoying this ,aren't you?" he asked smirking ,I just nodded my head as I started laughing even more louder. This was not that funny ,Then why was I laughing this hard?

I just felt that my heart was aching so ,I thought if I laughed and tried to be happy this ache would go away. But ,I seemed to be awfully wrong. What happened earlier this morning between me and Lucas was all I was actually thinking about. He looked kind of...hurt? I don't know ,I couldn't quite read the expression of his face back then. But that expression somehow made my heart sink. But then the thought of him throwing that cigarette away for me came to my mind ,making me smile.
