This is the first segment of the When the Lightning Strikes - A Wattpad Edition series. This part of the story focuses on behaviors and traits of certain characters, introductions to key worldly features, and brings forth the beginnings of the struggles, the pain, and hardships to be overcome by the main characters, Alicia Stone and Amal Thamizh.
It is a story of overcoming the hardships concerning a unnaturally conceived lifestyle, walking away from a misguided path of darkness and destruction. It is a story of overcoming insecurities and discomforts, and bringing about an empowering change, a feat of courage and power that begins with a step towards righteousness.
This story is ongoing, with each chapter being added immediately after it is completed. I plan to build this world up with perfection, so please bear with me if it takes too long.

I really hope you enjoy this story, as it is my first official story I've written. It might not be Stephen King-type quality, but I hope you find yourself submerged within this story, surrounded by the fires, the lightning, and the darkness of this world I have created.
