"Spare your sympathy." Drabble

Tell you you're the greatest.

It was amusing how quick some were to change places once they knew another's darkest secret. How easy it was to change the tide, to pretend to be against the very thing they were chanting for.

Loki knew it all.

He knew exactly how two faced and sneaky people could be, both mortals and immortals.

After all, was he not the reason Thor had his hammer? Was he not the cause for the hand of Freya to be kept away from the giant? 

Ah, they all seem to forget this with the death of their precious Baldr, didn't they? The gods who were once supportive of his silly tricks and lies that gave them their gifts were now very quick to point fingers at him.

What was so special about that god anyway? Did HE ever bring them great gifts? He bets he hasn't lifted a sword in his entire life. Pathetic.

And yet what could he do against the will of the gods? He was bound in his son's blood and tied to a rock to suffer.

But one day he'll take his revenge.

And they would suffer.

But once you turn they hate us.
