Yoongi, Namjoon, and Seokjin made their way through the crowd of caps and gown until they found the person they were looking for. "Yay Minnie!" Jungkook clapped from where he was propped on Namjoon's hip.
"Oh, thank you, Kookie~" Jimin hugged the 3-year-old tightly before giving him back to his parents. "It feels so good to be free from school!" The college graduate exclaimed, his gown billowing as he threw his arms out.
"I bet it does." Yoongi commented, wrapping his arm around Jimin to pull him closer. "I remember feeling the exact same way at my graduation." Jimin barely had the time to smile at him before his lips were on top of his.
They were quickly pulled apart by Seokjin yelling. "Hey, hey, hey, the making out can wait for later. Let's actually talk." Seokjin turned to Jimin while Yoongi rolled his eyes. "So, what are your plans now?"
"I'm gonna stay at the station." Jimin said. "The big boss already offered me a pay raise and a longer slot for my show, so I'm already set!"
"We're very happy that you're sticking around." Namjoon said. "Especially Yoongi~"
Yoongi didn't even bother to deny it, just pressing another quick kiss to Jimin's lips as they continued to converse. The conversation went for a few more minutes until Jimin announced that he needed to go but promising to be their house for the party Seokjin had insisted on throwing him. He turned to Yoongi with a smile and tugged at his hand. "Let's go~"
Yoongi let Jimin drag him off, his eyebrows slightly furrowing in confusion. "Where are you dragging me off to?"
"I want you to meet somebody." Jimin answered with a smile, pulling Yoongi along until they were standing in front of an older couple who were obviously in an awkward but civil conversation. "Mom, Dad, I want you to meet Yoongi..." Jimin pulled Yoongi to stand right beside him, squeezing his hand. "...my boyfriend~" He added on after a pause, smiling up at the older male.
Yoongi looked down at Jimin in shock at the use of the term 'boyfriend' for a brief second, only looking away when Jimin's mother addressed him. "It's very nice to meet you, Yoongi! Jimin's told me so much about you!"
"He's told me a lot too." Jimin's father jumped in, shaking Yoongi's hand.
They small talked for a bit before Jimin's mother said, "Well, I bet you're wanting to get back to that party with your friends you were talking about." She turned to Yoongi. "I expect to see you at dinner with Jimin tomorrow night."
Yoongi nodded slightly. "Yeah, of course, I'd love to."
"I'll buy you a drink~" Jimin's father offered, saying goodbye once more before Jimin's parents walked off in opposite directions.
Yoongi looked over at Jimin with a small smile. "Boyfriend?"
Jimin's eyes widened slightly. "Was that okay?"
"More than okay~" Yoongi said honestly, wrapping his arms around Jimin. "I'm just surprised, almost as surprised over the fact that you wanted to introduce me to your parents." Jimin's cheeks turned a light shade of pink. "And that you've apparently talked to them about me before?"
Jimin shrugged sheepishly, responding with a quiet voice. "I wanted them to know about the man I'm in love with."
It was the first time Jimin had used the word 'love' with Yoongi since that night at his apartment when they'd finally gotten on the same page, and it filled Yoongi's chest with the same warmth he felt now. "I'm in love with you too." Yoongi whispered, pressing his lips to Jimin's.
Jimin pulled away first but staying close enough that his lips brushed against Yoongi's as he whispered, "We should probably head to the party before Seokjin goes on a rampage." He giggled against Yoongi's lips.
"Yeah, definitely," Yoongi agreed, pressing his lips to Jimin's once more before taking his hand and leading him to the car.
