Once we had dealt with the wounded, we gathered our dead. Lippy and Twitch had fought hard, but died bloody. Though we would mourn them, they helped save the Pack, and they would be missed. The members of the Pack that had been too afraid to join the fight, collected the bodies of the enemy wolves, leaving only the dead human's. The wolves would have to be burned or buried, but the humans, Mitchel had decided he would pass the whole thing off as a robbery gone wrong, to explain all the damage to the Den.

After the place had been cleared, and the police had been, declaring the place a crime scene. I decided I would talk to bonnie about what had happened. I found her, in my trailer writing another note.

"Not going to say goodbye again?" I said, trying not to sound hurt.

She turned startled, then put down the pen.

"You deserve to know why I did what I did, but I can't stay sugar."

"Why?" I said trying to hide the lump in my throat, which still felt raw from when Dolton had kicked me.

"Lucian found me a few days before he sent me here, I hadn't been a wolf long, and the only thing getting me through the whole ordeal, was my younger sister, Sarah. He asked me to join his pack, and when I turned him down, he took her and left me instructions. I had to join the Hunt, and feed him information. I didn't want to hurt anyone, and I for sure didn't see myself falling for you." she said as tears began rolling down her cheeks.

I swallowed hard, and fought the urge to grab her and stop her from leaving.

"I don't know what he did with her, even if he killed her, either way, I need to know."

I understood, she did what she had to, but it hurt like hell that she was leaving.

"Where's the Dyna?" I asked suddenly realising that she hadn't returned on it.

"They trashed it when I showed up begging them to reconsider. But its fine, I'll get the bus from town, I'll start where they were hiding, then go from there." I took the Keys to the Iron from my pocket and held them out.

"Go find your sister, if you need anything, you know where I'll be."

She fully broke down into tears and pulled me hard into her chest, sobbing, both thanking me and apologising at the same time, her grip so tight it almost hurt.

Bonnie loaded up the Iron with things she might need, and we said our goodbyes. We shared one last kiss, it was perfect. It Felt like home, then it was over, quicker than it had begun.

I thought about what came next for us, for the Pack, and for the club as I watched her disappear over the horizon, and out of my life.
