Not Annie's Best Day

Annie woke up weirdly happy today. She unlocked her phone and searched her notifications.

She had a lot to do today. Abed had mentioned ten days ago that he wanted to buy a new laptop because he couldn't see his favorite tv series in his old one. Also, Britta had mentioned once that September 18th was her favorite day of the month. So that day was important for her friend today. She looked at her notifications again. Twitter, tumblr, and a lot of other plans.
She took off her pink pajamas and wore black trousers, a white shirt and left her hair as they were.

Britta wasn't there so she asked herself a few times if she should plan a surprise party for her. She wasn't sure why was that day of the month her favorite so she didn't know what to write in the cake she had already baked yesterday.

Then, she went to Abed's bedroom. She woke him up yelling and sat on the side of his bed. She was really grateful he and Troy suggested her to live with them. Her old apartment was terrible. Everybody was telling her to move out but she hadn't think about it until Jeff told her to.

She was in love with him. She loved how he cared for her and when he was telling her "I can't help but worry about you Annie" or "You're important to me" or "I care what you think about me" or "We can't keep doing this kiddo". She loved the way he loved her. Even if he never admitted that. Now she had to act like she didn't care. She acted like she was his friend.

Abed opened his eyes and didn't move.
"G'morning Annie" he said quickly.
"You know what I had been thinking all morning?" she smiled.
"I think we should buy the laptop you wanted" she answered as she knew he wouldn't answer.
"I don't know Annie. I think we don't have enough money. It's okay. Thanks for thinking about it but it's cool" he said and smiled.
"No Abed please let me help you I want to. I can't plan Britta's party and I can't do anything today to help anyone. Please I want to do something. I feel like nobody needs me in this world. I want to do something. I want to help someone" she started talking quickly and walking in the room.
"Britta is having a party?" he asked and Annie thought that Abed didn't understand anything.

She walked away from the room and went down. She looked at a woman that was crossing the street. She was smoking. "What if I started smoking?" She thought. "No I shouldn't. But, I guess I sounded like I was crazy. I should go to Abed and apologize. It is just not my day. I am really upset but I don't know with who? Maybe I'm upset with myself. Or maybe I'm upset with everybody. I should just go upstairs and ask Abed to forgive me for yelling at him" she thought and started walking to the building.
