What if I told you there isn't only one Encanto?
Miracles happen all over the world every day. Some are more important than others.
But, around 50 years ago, 2 huge miracles occurred.
The first one was in Columbia. But as you already know this story, I have no need to tell it to you.
Now let's focus on the second miracle in Mexico.
Around 50 years ago, Ernesto Martinez and Imelda Perez were two Mexicans living under the reign of the conquistadores. They fell deeply in love and gave birth to twins.
However soon after the birth of their children, the Mexicans attempted a coup d'état and tried to chase the conquistadores from their village. Unfortunately, the enemy was stronger and decided to eradicate the village.
Ernesto and Imelda tried to run away, but the European men effortlessly caught up to them. For her family's sake, Imelda sacrificed her life and lost her life in front of her mortified husband.
Only, a miracle showed itself, the never-ending love Imelda held for her husband and children materialized itself as a golden iris flower. The flower pushed away the offenders and grew mountains and a huge forest separating the territory from the outside. A magical mansion was also built from it. The Encanto was formed.
As the years passed by, families of Mexicans who felt oppressed by the conquistadores had been welcomed in the Encanto. They worked hard together and formed the pueblo, a village where anyone is welcomed.
When the twins came to age, they received a magical gift to help the family and the pueblo. Their direct descendants received the same blessing.
Around 25 years after the Encanto has been built, Mexico had been freed from the direction of the conquistadores and the Encanto opened to the outer world allowing the residents to travel as they wished.
The Martinez family itself allowed themselves to travel around and meet other families who had been blessed by a miracle.
Not long before I'm telling you this story, a traveler talked about a similar place to their Encanto situated in Columbia.
Yet, for once they wanted one of these families to come to their place. 2 members of the family headed to invite them personally.
Will the Madrigals accept to step out of their little paradise?
