Sakura's Twin (NarutoxReader) {HIATUS}

Chapter 6

"Really? Yes! Who? Who!? Are we guarding a princess? Or some busy counselor?" Naruto asked, his voice raised. "Don't be so impatient, I will bring him in now." The Hokage said, and I felt internal dread for what was to come.

"Send in our visitor!" Lord third ordered. Oh? My face quickly contorted into an amused, then annoyed look. A drunk looking man walked in. "That's the guy we're supposed to protect.. how disappointing." I mumbled. "What the-- a bunch of little snot nosed kids?" He paused drinking more of his alcohol. I can smell it from here, I hate the smell of alcohol.

"And you the little one, with the idiotic look on your face, you really expect me to believe you're a ninja?" Naruto laughed at the drunks words, I dont think he realizes he's the shortest out of all of us. I equally match Sakuras height so I knew it was Naruto who was being bad mouthed.

"Who's the little one with the idiotic look on his-" Naruto was soon cut of as we all lined up next to him. "I'll demolish you! Let me--" Narutos words were drowned out by Kakashi Sensei. "You can't demolish the client Naruto it doesn't work that way."

Please, I think a single punch to his face is something he needs, he keeps giving me a skeptical face and I dont like it. I laughed at Narutos childish actions making him send me a glare.

The drunk let out a noise before speaking, "I am Tazuna a master bridge builder, and I must return to my country. I'm building a bridge there that will change our world, and I expect you to get me there safely, even if it means giving up your life." He expects a bunch of kids to die for him? On only a C rank mission? Interesting. I hate him.

I hated this, that man obviously didn't respect the fact that we're supposed to help him, he made it very clear with his insults. I made my way to our meetup spot alongside Sakura. My Pink hair flowing against my face in its ponytail that my mother forced me to put it in. Sakura had grown her hair out and wanted me to do so as well, I agreed though I liked it short, my hair didnt bother me as much and it was easier to manage.

When we arrived the only one we were waiting on was Naruto. I wanted to start up a conversation but Tazuna probably would find it a bother, Sasuke most likely would ignore me, Sakura might talk but shes busy being annoyed because of how long Naruto is taking, and I'm worried that if I talk to Kakashi-Sensei for to long I might be the only one speaking.

"Hey I'm here!" I was thrown out of my thoughts as Naruto yelled running with his eyes closed, crashing right into me. Damn it. What's with me a falling recently? It's like somethings telling me not to trust my own two feet. I rolled my eyes at my current situation and got up as Naruto stumbled out and apology.

"Wow, I wonder what it will be like leaving the village!" Naruto said, excitedly. Naruto had expressed his want to visit places outside the village every once in a while so I more or less was aware he'd never left before. "Naruto have you never left the village before?" Sakura asked, to which Naruto Nodded, confirming her suspicions. "Great, I got a bunch of kids helping me out and one of them never even left this village! How is someone who probably doesn't even know what the outside world looks like, supposed to help me?!" Tazuna criticized, to which we all ignored him, well all except Naruto who gave him an angry glare.

I patted Naruto on the back, signaling for him to calm down. I remembered to bring a camera with me, the one Aoi had gifted me saying she'd like me to take pictures on missions so she could get to see what it's like before she becomes a Ninja. I remember Aoi had told me how much her mother had loved traveling before her dad decided he'd like to settle down, of course Aoi traveled with them for the first few years of her life before they all settled down but her memories of those places were foggy. Since her mother died, a fact I'd learned about her later on, before she was able to start traveling again, Aoi decided she would become a Ninja and then Travel in her mothers stead, that way she'd have proper training to protect herself and help others while traveling. She said she'd like to be called a traveling Ninja, and I may or may not have agreed to join her on her travels for some time before I actually settled down.

I only thought about Aoi as we walked, and how I really hoped we'd make it until we could travel seeing as ninjas are constantly killed in battle. I'd like to survive so I can keep my promise to her. So that's, that I suppose. I can't die, not until I've fulfilled my promise to Aoi.

Naruto had started talking to me while we walked, saying how excited he was for this. That's when he noticed my camera. "Hey [Y/n], what's the camera for?" Sakura took a peek at the camera in question and I saw her face change into that of a confused one. "Wait yeah [Y/n], we never bought a camera?" I sighed, I suppose I have to explain now. "It was gifted to me by the kid who's asked me to help train them, their name is Aoi-" Naruto Interupted, looking slightly put off gaurd.

"Are they a boy? Do you like them?" He nervously asked. I let out a gag and answered him. "First, Aoi is a girl, and secondly, Aoi is nine Naruto. Why do you ask?" Naruto looked confused as to why he asked to. "Oh [Y/n], he's teasing you, you said the kid gave you the camera he probably thought she was a boy and liked you." Sakura said, Naruto looked at her confused. I just nodded, knowing that wasn't the reason. I kept walking for a few more seconds before I spotted it. A puddle.

That's the end of this chapter guys, hope you liked it, please stay tuned for the next chapter and I apologize for it taking so long for this one to come out. I created/fixed all these chapters as fast as I could, I've been dealing with being sick for a week, going to school, and having to do a bunch of work, which all made this a slower process. I hope to have chapter seven at as soon as possible, I'm so sorry I've made this process take over a year and I'm going to do my best to get chapters out at least every month.
