Ok so this is my first fanfic ever!!! I'm kind of excited. I'll try to update this book as much as possible and hopefully It's good enough for people to read!

Harry looked in the gold-bordered mirror. Today was the day he had been waiting for his whole life. It was finally time for Harry to find a princess so he could become the king.

Harry knew his parents loved being king and queen, but it was only fair that Harry had his turn to rule, now that he was almost 21, the age when his father first started to rule as well.

The ball was the biggest gathering for any prince. All the citizens of Westport would attend, especially all the girls in Harry's age range. They all would make an attempt at looking their best to hopefully seduce the prince.

Along with all the citizens of Westport, Harry knew that the surrounding kingdom's royal families would be in attendance too. It was just more of a reason for Harry to try and look his best.

Harry looked in the mirror a final time making sure his light blue suit was smooth and his hair was free of knots. He took a deep breathe in heading straight for the ball room. He knew no guests would be arriving yet, but he wanted to make sure everything was in place.

Harry walked down the grand staircase and opened the 20 ft door to a grand ballroom. The ballroom was illuminated by hundreds of candles a grand chandelier hanging from the room's tall ceilings. Harry could see the warm glow bouncing off the shining marble floors the servants had cleaned for all of the previous week. Harry was busing admiring the way the room seemed to glow when suddenly he felt a hand on his shoulder.

"Harry, my boy. Look at you! All grown up and ready to find a princess!" The king's voice seemed to boom through the ballroom and Harry beamed up at his father. He was proud to finally be getting the opportunity to become King and find his princess.

"I was just admiring the ballroom. I know we've had parties here before but this is going to be the biggest one I think I'll see." Harry said.

Harry's father smiled down at him "I remember when I was your age and I was looking for my princess. God, who would've imagined I would have gotten someone as great as your mother." The king looked towards his wife who was dressed in a maroon ball gown. Harry had never seen his mother so beautiful. She saw the two staring at her and gave them a warm smile then continued talking to one of the servants, preparing them for what would be needed for the guests.

Harry suddenly looked back at his father. Now anxiousness filling him. "How did you know Mom was the one? Did you- I mean how was it so clear for you?" Harry didn't realize how they're was suddenly going to be hundreds to women trying to throw themselves at him and he would only have to choose one. It was a big decision to make in one night. What if he chose the wrong one? Harry shook his head, listening to his father's response.

"Well Harry, it certainly wasn't easy to find someone. There will be hundreds of people trying to talk to you, but at the end of the day, you choose who you want to talk to. When I first saw you mother and went to talk to her I looked into he eyes and saw something that I couldn't resist. She had kindness in her eyes and I knew that if she were to be my princess, she would be the kindest of them all. I guess it's all about how they first make you feel. Just look into their eyes like how I did with your mother. When you know, you'll know."

Harry smiled at this. His mother was the kindest person he had ever met. She would always give him valuable lessons in how to be kind. He never saw her talk down to or hurt a soul. She was a true princess, and queen, through and through.

With a new sense of ease from his father, Harry look a deep breath and sighed. "Well I better start to tell the guards to open the gates. I wouldn't want our guests to be waiting forever." Harry said with a smile.

"Just remember to have fun, ya? Make sure that she has kind eyes!" The King beamed at his son. Little did he know that while Harry would find someone with kind eyes, it certainly wouldn't be a she.

Ok! So that is the "Prolouge". I don't know if this is any good but I have a lot planned for this book! I'm really excited and I don't care if nobody reads it because this is just kind of fun for me! Update coming soon!
